@vincent12225 The front drum and middle drum are attached by a rubber band. Therefore, when you drive the rear wheel (by pedaling), the front wheel turns as well. The reason for this is twofold: By doing this more friction is introduced into the system which creates more resistance for a better workout. More importantly, the gyroscopic forces generated by the front wheel spinning helps the bike stay upright so you don't fall down!
great control, any tips on how to have that kind to control over a bike ? i've started pedaling 6 month ago and my stability is horrible, could that be something regarding the fitting ?
@azt3c There are many issues involved and providing a generic answer difficult. Fit of course, as you wrote could be a factor, pedaling technique, mobility, stability and core strength. We can do an online video analysis for you and live video webchat to help if you like - go to my website for more information.

@evanscoaching yea so if the front wheel in on its own freely spinning drum its not front wheel drive so the front shouldnt be moving right?
vincent12225 6 months ago
@vincent12225 Both drums spin at the same rate. I suggest you go to the Kreitler Rollers website for more clarity to your questions.
