I have heard that markers of actuarial exams are more than happy to fail everybody if that scenario was allowed to play out. After all, they are protecting entry into a exclusive profession and need to keep the actuarial revenues available to people already in the profession from going around too many people. I'm in the profession now so I hope I have what it takes to get through the process :)
