Something tells me this guy works at/owns/manages a hobby shop or some such place?

I'd love to know where in Japan that place is. . .its PACKED with kits. That place has more armor kits than the 3 hobby shops I go to combined. Cars, ships and aircraft included. I'd have to be dragged out of there. . .

It is tamiya putty

Exactly, it was modeling putty, so that there is no visible gab between the chassis and the wheel mounts.
