I lost a really great saddle mule a few months ago to that playing. He reared up playing around and ended up impaling himself on a T post in the fence. It was pretty sad for sure.

Boys being turds. ;D My TW boys are the same - the three idiots. Now, I added a half-Friesian - they are now the four morons. I would rather see them with bite marks and scrapes and being happy than pristine and perfect and bored. They love life and each other!

Reminds me of my two neutered mutts. They wrestle about all the time. People are either surprised they are fixed or think they are fighting, but I know they`d never harm each other, they just love rough housing. Boys will be boys.

Theres two horses [hurricane and mayco]that are where i work who will do this for 45 min. to an hour like 2 or 3 times a day EVERYDAY and it soo freaking hilarios but when they do theyre in a like 1/3 acre pasture so they have alot of room to play and theyll go running around chasing each other, bucking, kicking, rearing, doing sliding stops, roll backs all sorts of stuff it is soo funny

If anyone doesn't believe that horses just play to have fun, just watch my video "I like the way you move" - my colt was less than a year old when he was playing with an eight year old warmblood gelding who loved to have fun.

Of course this colt also played with the dog ALLOT, and even the cat, but the black gelding was the bully when it came to the food because he was the biggest, but really the mared are almost always in charge in a herd with no stallion.

Adorable! Who needs TV? My guys are too old to play like that anymore but when the wind picks up and a storm is coming boy they get silly and it's so fun to watch (and hear- the running bucking farts!).

Aw! They are so cute. My pony loves to play, but not with horses. When i turn her out and when i get kinda close to her. She does that to me and she starts galloping and bucking, expecting me to do the same! Its really funny.
