@ty0052 In the Chinese Zodiac, there is a cat and it varies on where in China you're born that it changes from either the Cat or the Rabbit. In Fruits Basket, there is already a Tiger, and the character here is the Cat because he is considered an outcast, since it goes with the story of how the rat tricked the cat at the Zodiac banquet and never got to be a part of it. Hope that clears up any confusion, I'm sort of a sorvant of the series :D

@ty0052 Kisa Sohma is the Tiger. She's not featured here but later in the anime and frequent in the manga, she makes an appearance. The manga explains Kyo's role in the Zodiac a little more in-depth. I'm part Chinese but I wish there was a year of the cat bc Kyo is one of my favorite characters. My favorite character is Hatori, then Haru, Kisa, and Yuki.

The manga is much longer and has a complete ending! The anime ending happens in the manga, but I was so surprised when the story continued!!

When I say the manga's long though, I mean it is LOOOONG! However, it's worth it in the end. A very good read :)

i love kyo "kyo's true form secene was much better in the manga , yuki wasn't there and thoru didn't run away to her mothers grave and be scard and cry, and akito didn't show up. in the manga thoru just ran straight after kyo and found him and said that she loved him no matter what even though she was scard at the moment, thats why she ran after him,,,,and the manga didn't end there. so its better in the manga"
