Yes, I remember this concert tour of his. Elton was in Sydney when his voice suddenly went out. Apparently, Elton had given so much effort to his singing that his voice almost vanished for life. For this reason, some singers nowadays such as Mariah Carey will have backup tracks so that they don't overuse their voices.

He had just had throat surgery. That's why his voice dropped for several years, and he has a bit of a hard time with some of the higher key songs. But it's still such a beautiful album. When I first bought this album, I had this cranked up SO LOUD!!
