Actually I think Brian Jones played lead on their original recording of the song. At least it looks like it on the TAMI show clip. I worked at copying that solo for months before I got it nailed right. It's a great song to play guitar to. It was written by a named Jerry Ragovoy and recorded by Kai Winding ("More", theme song for the movie "Mondo Cane" he was known for), then Irma Thomas, then the Stones. I prefer Irma's version but hers and the Stones are both great.

@gdosic Keith played a Music Man for many years out of the Stones.........Actually was his preferred guitar. He then played some telly, rarely a Startocaster. That is all.
The 335s, Tellys, etc are for his "Stones" appearances.
