Hi, great video first off. What are the 5 things you liked the most about software engineering? 5 bad things? What language were you programming in? Once again thanks for this video and GO DODGERS!
Sorry for late reply, Rene didn't get back to us so we asked another UCSD graduate of the CS Department
Good things listed were: great job prospects, many internships, challenging to say the least.
Bad Things: Long hours (all night long), difficult to get help all the time, can be hard to get all the classes you want when you want, 'friggin' hard classes.
Languages @ UCSD included but were not limited to : C / C++, Java, O-Caml, Python, Matlab. OpenCL started recently 2...
Love the vid! My favorite so far! Very useful content for anyone trying to be an Entrepreneur. I like that he delved into things just enough to give you a good idea without losing the audience. I also like that he didn't try to sugar-coat things and was very objective when it came to comparing the different tracks. A definite much watch for students/newly grads thinking of going into Entrepreneurship.
Very informative and motivating video thank u! I'm getting a second degree in computer science/programming as well as finance.
