Man when i got to the masq, the BTBAM show was sold out, so we bought tix to the cky show and listened outside. I don't think I have ever been as pissed off as i was then.

i started listening to Silent Circus and Alaska 2 fucking months before colors came out. i hadn't even gave their self-titled album a chance till i listend to Colors about a million times. i listen to shevanel cut a flip for the first time just a week ago and that little jazz thing towards the end of the song that sounds like your at a bar fuckin blew me away.

Too bad Dan, Blake and Dusty weren't a part of that band at the time. The rhythm guitarist on the self-title is in a band called Oh, Sleeper now. They're okay. They have some pretty dark guitar melodies and some of it is really creative and skillful, but I'm not really a fan of that kind of hardcore sound. Even though Oh, Sleeper is the best in that genre.

Either way, Paul Waggoner found someone who can really compliment his skill level in Dan.
