Instead of tapping the button to fire an item like a shell, hold it down instead and you can keep the item behind you to block some other items that are thrown at you like red shells

u need to unlock 8 expert ghost for baby luigi and u need to be faster then the Time Trial Staff Ghost by um maybe 7 secends or more i unlocked 2 so far =O
