@Summon256 The truth is that the final version is ready to be released for years now... but we want to win the vaporware award of the wired magazine :)

Ok... just kidding ^^.

There will be an update soon, I think. Most stuff we changed for now is related to the backend - means things that are importand for the game to run stable, but less for you to "feel" the game ;-). We think that it is uninteresting to write news about such updates...

Woar... can't anyone read the comments?! THIS IS NOT SA-MP!!! It was just a test of the new GTA United 1.2 (Which is yet unreleased!!!) core. It allows us to play around more freely with memory hook mods LIKE GTA Rumble (What was used in this video). It is NOT related into this United-MP in ANY way!

However... It was kyemans oppinion that the United-MP was just planned as an test and should not be accessed any longer, but we are not related in this and we do not care about it!

@hiladelphia None of both. This video has been created with GTA Rumble and the unreleased version 1.2 of the modification. You can't play it! You only may play 1.1 with GTA United MP (independet modification).

I don't know how far those GTA United MP Developers implemented this feature, but we are not related in any multiplayer modification. This video was created long before there was any public MP for the modification as an internal test of the new modification core which makes it more easy to play using memory hooks. So this video is NOT related into "GTAU MP", just as we aren't. Also we are NOT developing an own multiplayer modification.

There is NO server IP. This was just a video demonstrating the new modification core which allows to use simple multiplayer modifications (In this case GTA Rumble). The server was just online for a few hours during filming the shown scenes. Also today there are several different ways to play GTA United online, even the latest release version 1.1. This is NO official seperate multiplayer modification. It is GTA:Rumble. A mp mod we all know from early days. This video was created long before the SAMP release for United. It was the first test online, just to see wheather it works or not. There are no gamemodes or something in this way.

The comment above was just a joke.

It is impossible to create a server on SAMP or MTA, because of 2 reasons:

1. SAMP and MTA:DM are based on DirectX 9 Hooks. We resolved this by creating a new limit adjuster, which makes it possible to run those hooks

2. SAMP and MTA:DM are using constant memory addresses for static limits like pointers to the PED and Vehicle Pool. We changed them, but the modifications are unable to recognize that. So we can do nothing in that way.
