I actually think it's perfect for Suzuka, the car handles well yes, but the top speed is around 185 and that's all most cars can reach when racing at Suzuka. Also, the gear ratios are really close, it feels like an F1 car, it doesn't have a lot of torque per gear which is what you need at Suzuka, especially in the S section, when you don't brake and instead, downshift.
well the GT-R isn't built just for suzuka but that is one of the tracks it races on. It's a very good car but I don't think it's nearly as fast as the citroen. the citroen has more power and more downforce. I'm curious what the weight is though. I'm trying to win one right now
@Rulerzigzagzig I knew that. what I was wondering was the weight of the citroen. I just got it and it's 1200kg but it has 600hp so I was correct in assuming it's faster than the GT-R. The only thing I don't like about any citroen GT is the visibility out of the car is so poor. Thank god GT5 lets you zoom in with cockpit view so you can see out the car a little better
I was going to buy the Citroen, but instead bought another Japanese car, the HKS CT230R Lancer. This car is pretty affordable, and I tuned it 600BHP. It's also around 1050 kg. Im testing the laps times now.
On a side note, I don't use the cockpit view unless I have a large lead and I drive conservatively. In order to push my lap times, I need to see the whole car. I never got used to the cockpit view, I'm beginning to, but the standard cars ruined it. (PSN: "Rulerzigzag" )
@Rulerzigzagzig yea that thing is a very good price. I won the citroen GT race car by beating the dream car championship in b spec mode, otherwise it would've been 5.6 million. For that kind of money a Mazda 787B, or peugeot 908 would be a better buy, I have both. I use hood cam with the standards but I just enjoy cockpit more and I put up better lap times with it. It's more immersive I think even though the engine sound isn't as pleasant inside a car as outside. I just can't stand bumper cam
Bumper cam is not my thing, I only use hood cam on the F1 cars. But with all other cars, I always went with 3rd person view, your behind the car and you see the track from a higher P.O.V. It's not realistic, but it's how I always played, too late to change, but when I get the chance, I switch to cockpit mode. It's better since I drive with a racing wheel now, but still not too fast that way.
I want that Peugeot badly! The only Lemans car I have is the Toyota Minolta.
@Rulerzigzagzig Driving with wheels is the best. Up until gt4, I always used chase cam. I like seeing the car and I hate how low the bumper cam is. Chase gives a better view of the track but I have trouble sensing exactly what way the car's pointed. I like roof cam with the F1 cars too, it's a lot like watching on TV. The peugeot's awesome. It's the fastest lemans car besides the pescarolo c60 hybride. I have all the premium le mans cars and the minolta. THe 787B is really cool too.
