  • I grew up in Jefferson County ... lived in Bolivar, CT, the Junction, and Ranson ... and heard stories about an underground lake. I always thought they were just the stories of an imaginative older sister. How cool that it is true!

  • This is great! I live in Shenandoah Junction. One of my buddy's grandparents had access to the lake.

  • Hi! My boyfriend and I recently heard about this underground cave an I saw that you had heard of it. Do you know if they ever allow the public access to it? Thanks so much!

  • I am unsure if they allow access, or if it is accessible. It's a bit forgot it seems. There were rumors that natural gas filled the cave and that it is contaminated but who knows...

I'd love to go down and check it out.

  • Nice little mini-documentary, enjoyed the story.
