  • Can i access to serial port, wifi, or blutooth via django?

  • @diegonimus No, it's not the purpose of django, but you can do it with python.

  • @programmersbook But can i make a socket or websocket? and make communication via ethernet port?

  • @diegonimus Yes, soket with python websocket with html5

  • @diegonimus socket with python and websocket with htmk5

  • @diegonimus so if i understand i must do an python (offline) application(client) only that communicate via TCP/IP and serial, wifi etc... to comunicate serial port and otter resources with a server?

  • This was great. It went fast, so I had to constantly pause it to keep up with replicating the work, but it was fine.

  • @lassaad7 first install apt-get install gedit-plugins, after go under Tools-> Manage Sniplets and create your own, what's what I did! More django tutorial are coming!

  • @programmersbook Thank you :)

  • THANK YOU!

  • @KilianMorrison You welcome!

  • Nice! As a python and django newbie, I spent a LOT of time scouring through other people's web tutorials on how to build a simple blog. This tutorial was short and to the point. Good work!

  • @hyouriittai Thank you! Happy to hear. I wish i had this tutorial when I started with django :). More will come soon!

  • good stuff. Having read a good deal of the django book, this was right up my alley. Still, this demonstrates an already working knowledge of exactly how everything fits in. In real development time it would take longer to trial n error your way through, esp on your first app. Though it's still so easy...
