1. Go and study any handbook on world demographics. Except above age of 65, there are more men than women. So by that logic Islam should allow one woman to marry 4 men!!
2. The demographics are skewed across world. Many places have severe biased gender ratio (more men than women). So in these places, let each women have 4 husbands if she can justify!!!
i think mr mahendra has half knowladge about islam and never went through chapter 65 talaq in quran. There are many women in the world than men, if one man gets marry to one woman then what about others women who donot get marry, will they become prostitutes? to satisfi thire sexual urge, are there any solution your veda shows? i think you cant find it because your veda dont have answer. Islam is the only reliegion which says mary only one if you cant justify more than one.

3. The vedic solution is simple - monogamy. Also vedas promote marrying from far off places so that gender distribution is equated across the globe.

A question - did not a lot of the ancient rishis have more than 2-3 wives. For example yajnavalkya, kashyap and so on ?
