I have met men in jail with style. I have met more men in jail with style than men out of jail. Style is the difference, a way of doing, a way of being done. Six herons standing quietly in a pool of water, or you, naked, walking out of the bathroom without seeing me.

In the first 11 seconds of this clip, I knew why Buk hated this movie and why I did too. Ben doesn't do the tilt with the liquor that is a signature of Bukowski and also a part of who he is.. This man is acting like if Buk was an alcoholic, not a habitual drinker. Even just in how quickly he read it, compared to how Buk would, is a disgrace. Buk would drink his words like he drank his wine. This is garbage.
