  • hi weaponeer love ur vids man was hopeing u can help me out i own a 7.62x39 Norinco NHM-90 AK47 Dragunov Syn now i purchased a fab rail like the 1 in this video from a large firearms dealer now the problem is that the top rail at the frount sight end is a little off center gos off to the right im right handed so when i look down my open sights i can see that the top rail is off center i must of taken it a part 100 times trying 2 align it any tips would be very much appreciated thanksheaps

  • @garettleigh did you try a couple taps with a rubber mallet to align and seat the rail?

  • @weaponeer ,,,,,,,,im looking for a triangle butt stock like that one please tell me whare to find one sir..

  • @perromichoacano99 - you need to look for a Bulgarian AK74 side fold stock. I should note that the Bulgarian side fold stock, locks to the side with a catch on the receiver, and not the stock, so if it's mounted on a rifle without the special stock lock, the stock will not lock in the folded position.

  • ok thanks man.. but if i were to use a utg rail for my bulgarian ak74 wich one should i use?? im guessing the universal rail im not to shure...?

  • @juggla4evr1 - It uses the same rail as the AK47. If thats the Universal you are talking about, then thats the one. when I went to a few websites they called it the UTG AK47 Quad Rail (didn't see anything for Universal )

  • nice video man.. very helpful.. i was wondering i am about to put a quad rail system on my century arms bulgarian ak74 & the system i have picked is a utg quad rail.. the thing is i dont know wich one to get im guessing i should get the universal quad rail im not to shure though would this system fit my gun?? i would really appreciate the help.. thanx man!

  • @juggla4evr1 The UTG AK47 Quad Rail should fit fine on the bulgarian AK74. Mine takes standard AK47 accessories just fine.

  • I'm playing a game called Operation 7, and my forearm is called AKe TacForearm. Why AKe? What's the "e"?

  • I like that stock and grip. Looks good and funtinal. FAB Defence has a lot of nice things for many weapon platforms. I also like the gunsmithing of the AK design...hit it with a mallet!

  • At first i was thinking why not vents on the top, then Duh you told me the common sense reason before i could even think. After a few magazines that barrel dose get very hot.

  • excellent vid! I was thinking of getting a Saiga 7.62x39 carbine and converting it. I'm not familiar with any parts kits tho, would that be a better value? and can you avoid ffl transfers with the parts kits?

  • @MajorSam90 - well, in order to avoid the FFL Transfer you have to manufacture the receiver, and while I can do that using a flat because I have the tooling, if you don't have the tooling to do it, you can expect to pay 3 times more for the rifle (tool cost is a killer). in the build process you also have to worry about 922r requirements, so that adds cost as well. you are better off buying a rifle and customizing it the way you like, and that way the rifle will also hold it's value

  • By the way, where'd you buy that buffer for the recoil spring? Now you got me interested in a part I didn't even know existed.

  • @DemonHide - google BlackJack Buffers - I even use them in Uzi, and 1911's

  • @weaponeer Ah yes, I see what you're talking about. Might order one soon, only like $12 with the free shipping special they got goin'.

  • I was thinking of getting that forend. The metal versions are freakin' expensive, not worth the price increase IMO.

  • @DemonHide - I agree, and the composite material is tougher as well as cheaper.

I use both, but the Aluminum versions are really pricey from the big name guys, and you can buy a lot of accessories for what most cost. which is why I have an updated VZ58 as well as an AK

  • How much did that AK run you?

  • @TacticalCitySlicker - I bought it as a parts kit several years ago and built it into a rifle myself, so it was less than you would spend for a store bought AK74

  • @weaponeer I was going to build a 47 out of a kit as well. Than the prices shot up, and now the plan is scraped.

  • @TacticalCitySlicker - I still have 10 to 12 rifles to finish (all models of AK's)

  • Looks really sharp! Really modernized it up.

  • damn weaponeer is a freakin magician!!! That was awesome!!!

  • @BlueCollarSurvival - trying to keep them worth watching..
