In the long run something happens to the body when on raw vegan low fat....and it's not for the better. My teeth and heart condition got better on raw meats, after a raw vegan lifestyle. It's not the fat. She eats a lot of carbs. All root veggies, fruits etc contain a lot of natural carbs which turns into sugars. Too much carbs will strain the blood sugar level and inhibit burnng fat. Check the low carb, high fat-disciplin or the inuits. They eat so much fat and blubber that you might think they are the fattest in the world but no. She seems to have the same body constitution as Boutenko. Why, if raw vegan is so good for us? Getting fat as you grow older on raw!? Hm...
If you can't do one hundred percent raw, you can make it 50 or 60% and the rest make it healthy recipes that might not all be raw. At least to get started. I've uploaded a whole line of Healthy Vegeterian Mediteranean recipes. If you're trying to loose weight do not add the same amount of olive oil I recommend.
why is the author/chef so heavy? Because it is too much fat.You may as well eat a stick of butter. fat is fat. Stay raw and keep the fat under 10%. Too bad the truth hurts.Read 80/10/10 by Dr. Graham or look him up on you tube. High Fat will not get rid of diabetes. Low fat is the only answer.
This is a good advise, but missed the mark. Jackie was obese, and lost a lot of weight on raw food. She is eating very little fat, and staying 80/10/10 most of the time. She is a close friend of Doug and Rozi.
Love it!! Raw foods seems logically so healthy and easy on your body thatn those ridiculous fad diets like Atkins!
I never understood atkins, cut out carbs and eat more meat?? Tha asians are the heathiest, longest living & SKINNIEST people on earth and all they eat is rice for breakfast lunch and dinner and no meat just fish.
I think the Atkins guy was paid off by the American Beef organizations.. haha

Yeah also why would you want to go on a diet that the dude died of a heart attack from anyways. Vegetarian and Raw and such is way better.
