field runners isnt the first in tower defense games so you can say that its a copy cat of field runners, theres like 30 tower defense games just like field runners and there are much older ones than field runners.

Fair enough. See i was speaking specifically whereas you both are speak in VERY BROAD TERMS. Yes there were other tower defense games before either of these,and everything in the world is a rip-off of something else. Every new movie is just a rip off of an older version or a story perhaps. The movie "O brother where art thou" is just a huge rip off of Homer's The Odyssey. So yes generally speaking there were others that came before this,but when he says the name fieldrunners in comparison..well.

To elaborate briefly, for the couple weeks I've been noticing that the apps that you've been choosing to review (or asked to do by means of compensatory action) have been very crude, impromptu and lifeless. I'd like to see (as I'm sure others would also) some apps that are worth mentioning. That is the job of a reviewer. Take the absolute worse and the absolute best applications and review about them, not these mediocre ones that I've been seeing. How you review them is fine. Just a thought :)

Yeah, Star Defense is way better, but this looks deeper with gameplay. FYI SD is now also $0.99.

I have to say this is one of the best tower defense games I have played. I think it might be better than fieldrunners. The levels are very creative and some can get quite challenging.
