@Stonefactor Let me rephrase that, I think that cannabis can have positive effects on many who use it, not all. And it does have a mind or consciousness expanding quality about it. But if your not actually seeking intelligence then there is little change of you becoming smarter simply by smoking. Gotta love the stoned child-like giggles in the background. I'd rather eat cannabis than smoke it, I don't like smoking stuff, it just seems unnatural - breathing in smoke, a bit unhealthy, or like a desperate attempt to get something rapidly into your system given the absence of a better form of ingestion. People like smoking (sucking ;-P) stuff because it stimulates the basic biosurvival circuit modality of the mind, which is comforting and reminds them of life-affirming tenderness/safety.

I like smoking it because it tastes better than the food i have in my fridge. i think its natural to smoke it - more so than the Co2 we constantly breath in. also the reason you give at the end of your comment seems to argue the case for it being natural.

when i discovered McKenna studies i became sad because he was alredy gone, and the further i read and listened to his speeches and stuff it made me even more sad because i know i'll never get to meet him.

@RossbartonFS i dont know about that. i remember hearing that at a certain age he began suffering from terrible migraines, one of the side effects of some species of Psilocybe is headaches.
i read that toward his last few months, he had like 3 brain seizures in one night, which were, as he claims, 3 of the most powerful psychedelic experiences he had ever known.
he was diagnosed with HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE brain cancer.
