I'm 17 and adopted from China. My biologic parents dropped me off at a police station, then I was taken to an orphanage. My parents adopted me when I was 6 months old. I'm thankful that I'm alive today, and I consider myself lucky however, consider babies who aren't so lucky. I could have been dumped in the streets. Now that I'm older and understand why my biologic parents gave me up, I wouldn't have blamed my birth mother if she wanted an abortion. Don't take a woman's choice away. Peace.

This song is so sad it made me cry. I had to make the choice to let my daughter live or not at one time. I was an unwed mom at age 17 and my baby is now 26, expecting a baby through a surrogate friend...a baby girl.

1. why use the term "unfertilized" to modify fetus. scientifically, a human egg cell coming from a mother has been fertilized up to about 30hours after conception. so the term 'unfertilized" is incorrect.

Guys, there's this thing called ADOPTION. There are many childless couples looking to have children but cant. Don't torture these kids, let them grow up. If you don't have the money to take care of them, then someone else probably does and will. This can be applied to all cases including and especially rape. I believe it's not the woman's choice. This sounds harsh but when murder of another human being's life, we should consult the victim first XD especially if we are to condone it legally.

I was a teenager when I found out I was expecting. I had all of my college years ahead of me and a job paying only minimum wage. Many of my friends thought the obvious decision for me was to abort and finish my goals. My daughter is 12 years old now, well adjusted and a happy, and an extremely compassionate person. (I think she may be a nurse someday with that heart of hers!) To those who are Pro-choice, I would have you ask my daughter if she thought I made the right decision.

I had 6 of the reasons that are commonly used for abortion including a health scare in which I had to decide wether or not I'd definately loose the baby or risk taking a drug to stop early labor that put me at high risk for heart attack, due to some heart conditions that I have. I don't usually post on these things but I think all the hate is so sad. I am a Christian but that really does not have anything to do with why I don't believe in abortion. It seems like common sense, why is it okay to kill a baby? With birth control so readily available why are there so many unwanted pregnancies? So sad, I hold my babies tight and feel sad for the ones who never felt love. I am all for a womans right to choose, birth control or no birth control.
Because the debate is whether or not the fetus qualifies as an actual person. Birth control is effective, but the irony is that many people who are against abortion are also against condom use, birth control, masturbation, and practically all means of preventing pregnancy. There's also the irresponsibility of the actual woman, but even then birth control isn't always 100% effective.

Stella Anabelle Ray but tubular pregnancy forced a indescribable choice... my daughters life or her mother the love of my life... the Dr. said for her to carry Star to birth would have killed her and I couldn't bear that to happen so we chose to save her mothers life and soon after she left me due to the mental anguish but I don't regret it...

Pro life for innocent unborn persons is what people mean by pro life. Pro choice on the other hand is pro choice to defend the right to kill an innocent unborn person. 1:I don't believe in any creator, in my opinion, we weren't "made" in any image, we're a "product" of evolution. It doesn't mean we are better than any other life forms. Why should we? Even if "a creator" existed, why would he want that? EVERYONE should be equal.
2: "pro choice" means to have the choice and not be forced to do anything with your body. Of course it shouldn't be used as a normal form of birth control, but it has to be THERE as a CHOICE.
3. If a woman is raped, she shouldn't be forced to have the baby- She didn't want to be raped and it's not her fault. Without abortion it would be as it (sadly) is in many European laws: It's all the victims fault and the victim doesn't have as many rights or isn't protected as much as the commiter. I agree animals aren't more important than humans. I do, also, agree with the chemical usage to put an animal to death for it's meat. I live in my parents house and we do not buy processed meat, instead we use our own. We don't kill unjustly (like abortion), we only do it when we run short. Wuzupshamu; life does not begin and end with yourself. We do not live in our own little worlds as some us us might think or like. Granted, we are born of a mother and a father- Not only does it take your womb to make a baby, but it takes sex- Sex is a procreative act; in no way does sex promote death- unless used in the erotic, careless, irresponsible sense our society cultures and advertises. Life does not begin and end with one mother but connects to the lives of others in nature's chosen way.

That is the ONLY situation where I see its use as ethical. A life or a life... Consider this an "official pro-lifer response". You argument is bunk. If I took your comment literally, no child would be jailed because there are no qualifications for committing a crime: pre-meditation, motive, etc. Secondly, the mother's death would more likely be attributed to failure of medical treatment or personnel during childbirth, not a result of a baby purposefully "murdering" its mom.
People are going to have abortions, legal or illegal. Making sad videos about the potential a fetus may or may not have is not going to stop women from doing this. It's THEIR life. It's THEIR choice. What if your baby had a cleft lip? I was 32 weeks pregnant, but i had a cleft lip, so I had an abortion, because i don't want a freak baby (and please don't judge me because I had already had 5 abortion but i really wanted to keep that one). I'm 17 and adopted from China. My biologic parents dropped me off at a police station, then I was taken to an orphanage. My parents adopted me when I was 6 months old. I'm thankful that I'm alive today, and I consider myself lucky however, consider babies who aren't so lucky. I could have been dumped in the streets. Now that I'm older and understand why my biologic parents gave me up, I wouldn't have blamed my birth mother if she wanted an abortion. Don't take a woman's choice away. Peace.

Guys, there's this thing called ADOPTION. There are many childless couples looking to have children but cant. Don't torture these kids, let them grow up. If you don't have the money to take care of them, then someone else probably does and will. This can be applied to all cases including and especially rape. I believe it's not the woman's choice. I was a teenager when I found out I was expecting. I had all of my college years ahead of me and a job paying only minimum wage. Many of my friends thought the obvious decision for me was to abort and finish my goals. My daughter is 12 years old now, well adjusted and a happy, and an extremely compassionate person. (I think she may be a nurse someday with that heart of hers!) To those who are Pro-choice, I would have you ask my daughter if she thought I made the right decision.

I had 6 of the reasons that are commonly used for abortion including a health scare in which I had to decide wether or not I'd definately loose the baby or risk taking a drug to stop early labor that put me at high risk for heart attack, due to some heart conditions that I have. My human survival instinct for my baby was what decided for me. It is always murder to stop the growth of a fellow human being. Always.

I don't usually post on these things but I think all the hate is so sad. I am a Christian but that really does not have anything to do with why I don't believe in abortion. It seems like common sense, why is it okay to kill a baby? With birth control so readily available why are there so many unwanted pregnancies? So sad, I hold my babies tight and feel sad for the ones who never felt love. I am all for a womans right to choose, birth control or no birth control.

Because the debate is whether or not the fetus qualifies as an actual person. Birth control is effective, but the irony is that many people who are against abortion are also against condom use, birth control, masturbation, and practically all means of preventing pregnancy. There's also the irresponsibility of the actual woman, but even then birth control isn't always 100% effective.

I respect both prochoice and prolife... I had to make the hardest decision of my life 2 years ago when my fiancee was prego with my daughter Star... Stella Anabelle Ray but tubular pregnancy forced a indescribable choice... my daughters life or her mother the love of my life... the Dr. said for her to carry Star to birth would have killed her and I couldn't bear that to happen so we chose to save her mothers life and soon after she left me due to the mental anguish but I don't regret it...

Well, 3 main points:
1:I don't believe in any creator, in my opinion, we weren't "made" in any image, we're a "product" of evolution. It doesn't mean we are better than any other life forms. Why should we? Even if "a creator" existed, why would he want that? EVERYONE should be equal.
2: "pro choice" means to have the choice and not be forced to do anything with your body. Of course it shouldn't be used as a normal form of birth control, but it has to be THERE as a CHOICE.

I agree animals aren't more important than humans. I do, also, agree with the chemical usage to put an animal to death for it's meat. I live in my parents house and we do not buy processed meat, instead we use our own. We don't kill unjustly (like abortion), we only do it when we run short. There's a difference between animal cruelty & healthy eating.

That is the ONLY situation where I see its use as ethical. A life or a life... One can hope that the mother puts her baby first, but no judgment if she doesn't, or pray for a miracle third solution that could save them both. As medicinal knowledge exponentially increases with current research, this is becoming more and more likely. Peace to you.

Consider this an "official pro-lifer response". You argument is bunk. If I took your comment literally, no child would be jailed because there are no qualifications for committing a crime: pre-meditation, motive, etc. Secondly, the mother's death would more likely be attributed to failure of medical treatment or personnel during childbirth, not a result of a baby purposefully "murdering" its mom.

My grandson was born with a clift lip and pallet..He is a beautiful 2 yr old boy today..I can't imagine anyone wanting to hurt an unborn baby.. My grandson has had several surgeries and will have more in the future,but it was worth it all!They are a gift from GOD!

But the next time I get pregnant, and my baby isn't from a black man, or doesn't have a horrible deformity such as cleft lip, 11 fingers or a small penis, then I'll want to keep it. What if your baby had a cleft lip? I was 32 weeks pregnant, but i had a cleft lip, so I had an abortion, because i don't want a freak baby (and please don't judge me because I had already had 5 abortion but i really wanted to keep that one). I mean, abortion is never the best answer, but if you're baby has a horrible deformity such as cleft lip, or 11 fingers, like one of my other abortions, then it must be done

My son (now 1.5 years) was born with 11 fingers on each hand, and 11 toes on each foot.
