You guys seem to give good advice. I'm sorta a big guy. I was looking at the 2012 version of this and thought it looked all right. I walk around at 260. 6'3". Would this bike pull me all right or should I look at something bigger?
Two things for those commenting here..I have an '09 Rebel 250, I'm 6' 207 lbs. It pulls me just fine, and you don't really notice the size difference on the outside looking in once you slap some saddlebags on there, lol. The other thing is, with gas prices going up this summer, why -would- you want to get rid of this 80+mpg beauty?
how does this bike do on the highway im looking to buying one and doing a cross country trip and also how would it fit me i am 5'10 and about 115 pounds

I have an 09 cmx 250 a great bike. Ilove your handlebars. Fast for the size I can get to go 80 -85 I weigh 195, Plenty of power for a beginner bike. Hate to get rid of it when its time to move on to a bigger bike. I'll make my own video before I get rid of it.
nobody says you have to go to a bigger bike. i have had bigger bikes before, big deal. if the bike will go 80mph, then thats plenty fast anyway. if you hate to get rid of it, then you are going to regret it when you do. dont do it, the rebel is plenty of motorcycle for the person smart enough to realize it.
@rebelCAFE1 Agree with you completely. Bought my 2009 Rebel a couple of weeks ago and like you said, the Rebel is enough motorcycle for someone smart enough to realize it. I love that bike and plan to keep it for a long while. BTW it is my first motorcycle and surely not my last.
i fucking love that sound reminds me of mexico since my brother would always drive it over there hopefully i get to drive it this december
