Of course you can play it with this card. I played Crysis 1 in Full HD Resolution and lowest graphics settings with a little bit overclocked version (standart Gigabyte GT220) at about 20-30 fps.

But that is pretty much useless since you want to play Crysis in full details thats what you bought it for.

By the way:

Intel Celeron E3300 (2 cores @ 2.5 Ghz)

I have the same card, but a dual core. Runs great, but it's weird that it seems it runs better without overclocking. But what's even weirder/awesome is that the cashier at the store accidentally rang it up as 2 network cards so I only paid $17.99 instead of $77.99 :D

yeah lol actually i am veeery athletic. i play major midget hockey actually, (pretty competitive.) i play lots of sports... volleyball, hockey, soccer... i live on a farm so there really isnt much to do during long days so i game :)

@snorkel321 Funny you say that mine is an acer T180 aspire dual core. Had a crappy card and only 1 gig of ram. Me birthday this saturday and me lass came home with this GFX card for me. GT220 and has 1 gig of DDR2, Ive been dying to play Crysis since I got the PC 2 year ago. Do you or anyone know if it will run ok with my system. Im also getting another 2 gig ram this week sometime. But when I ran a test on Can I run it, it said my GPU speed was questionable. Cheers !

@ukogmickey it'll run fine, but it cant run it at gamer(high) settings. my other crysis vid shows crysis running on the gt220 + a dual core 3ghz.

@xy274 Thanks for that very quick response m8. I think my Pro is only a 2.4GHz dual core, I know its an AMD athlon 3800+ x 2, But sure its only 2.4Ghz.. So will it deffo run ok with only 1 gig of system ram ? Its just Ive tried Battlefield 2 deluxe edition and that still seems a bit sketchy. GTR2 runs lovely though. I dont understand when you mention gamer and stuff, are these programmes that make it run better if so could you please enlighten me as I have no clue its my first card. Thanks !

@ukogmickey well my dual core is an AMD like yours. so im estimating that u'd probly get about 25 to 30 frames per second on crysis warhead ( on medium/high settings). now if u were looking on playing the first crysis; you would probly get 20 to 24 frames per second. gamer setting is considered a high setting on crysis warhead. which means that it'll lag. now i dont play on gamer settings. i pretty much play at meduim textures, and the rest is all gamer( or high settings)

@xy274 Ok thanks for the help, So Crysis warhead would run better then yeah, Either way id much like to play the first one first. Think I will wait till I get more ram. Is it the ram what causes the slowdown/lag ? So you basically select Gamer then change the textures to medium ? I will try that. Will pop back and let u know how it goes, hopefully will run fine but Im still worried it wont, lol. Take care and thanks again.
