BET Uncut was a disgrace. It's a shame that there was a period of years when that show aired daily, while BET News was canceled.
All the educational shows have been taken off the network. BET News, Tavis Smily's Show, Teen Summit, the Sunday political show with Armstrong Williams.

I am agreeing with everyone's comments!!!!!!! I also never recalled ever seeing ALL forms of black entertainment on Black Entertainment Television!!! TV (apart from the much-informative PBS stations) was never intended to educate anyone. So I am figuring Bob Johnson took that approach as well. Unless our parents successfully got us to understand who Chuck Berry, Leadbelly, Sarah Vaughn and Lee 'Scratch' Perry was, we were never gonna learn that watching THAT channel!!!

Bob owned BET and sold it to a major corporation Viacom and allowed them to buy him out. I am still getting over that. Since then, BET has been turned into a modern day minstrel show. Spike Lee did the movie Bamboozled to educate us about self racism and how racial buffoonery can be detrimental to us as a people and our image. Bob was probably a teenager or in his twenties during the time Martin Luther King marched. It seems like he has forgotten his roots and only cares about money!!!!!!

NABJ doesn't want to do anything about it because they are more and more like your man Bob Johnson. In the industry once a black person leaves the business or fired, they are replaced by a white person. Thus the news just gets more lily white by the day. What are your thoughts?

When are you 'journalists' gonna have the courage to expose the Jewish domination/manipulation of the media/gov't/corps. We're in Iraq to protect Israel, yet ignore Africa. Your journalism degrees aren't worth a piece of toilet paper IMO. Or maybe you're just too scared.

He angrily dodged the question and shortly thereafter ended the Q&A and stormed off of the stage. I guess the real question we should be asking is if the Clinton's really believes we are that stupid to believe that that smut peddler Bob Johnson will influence African American votes to her benefit?

Well Done. I am graduate of Morehouse College and can vividly remember Bob Johnson standing on stage in King Chapel gloating about his money and self proclaimed accomplishments. During the Q&A a classmate of mine, Bashir Jones, asked Bob if he was really proud of the nihilistic and misogynistic lifestyle BET promoted and furthermore, being that it bears the name BET, it serves as a representation of all African Americans whether we like it or not.

Well stated by the young lady. Proud of you for expressing your opinion and views. Johnson tried to clean it up but definitely too late. People love Obama, embrace him, he has my support, not because I am black, his experience has been an issue, what president ever walked into the white house with full knowledge of the presidents job, NONE, and for Obama I say he is no different, I say YES and YEs to Obama.

Johnson and his negative commentary on Sen.Obama.Given his history and contribu. or lack thereof to blacks thru his production of BET- he has the nerve!In fact, there are many in his generation, that support the Clinton's on unfounded notions or bases (Toni Morrison, Maya Angelo. i.e 1st. black Pres. theory hmmm... exactly what didClinton do for blacks soley, that he did not do for other amer in terms of legisl. and policies.

I don't watch BET... it sucks, always did, always will..Im Black and I don't give a damn who thinks Im a sellout.. Your comments on Bob Johnson and BET are right on point. He speaks of Obama and his weed, but let's talk about Clinton sexual escapades in the White House during business hours. But what you have seen is Judas at his best, and if I am correct he is no longer sole owner of BET it is owned by a white company.

Don't get it twisted.
1. If Hillary voted against supporting the republicans would still win the final votes and "pigeon holded democrats to lead in the poles.
2. If Bush was under Impeachment he would jump start the economy and since people have short memory to would come to feel sympathy and vote republicans.
The republicans are not dead. Things are not always as they appear. If the Democrats want the Whitehouse, send a ticket of Hillary/Obahma together.

You're absolutely right. You're the first person I've seen address this. A sure shot to Presidency is to put Clinton/Obama on the ticket. And I think that will happen.
And that could mean 16 years of Democrats in the Whitehouse.
