@supertrix101 Not too much info on the internet abbot her. She, along with her other female colleague, gave this band such beautiful vocalisation, along with Kris' rythmic moves that gets one to imagine something rather lascivious. I'd put her in her early to mid forties now. She is still rocking!
I had the great honor of meeting these guys several times , it even got that i saw them so much they just would put my of the guest listhahah my band even opened for them twice and moe dave kris and brad are the nicest people on the planet. i told Moe several times he had the perfect band and idea for original music.. Great guys too bad the were so underrated..
i remember (sorta!) watching TPOH in Ryly's in S'toon in the early 90's. I loved how Moe asked Jon Bon Jovi (to the crowd) if his new haircut (jon had got the shorter 'do at the time) made him feel more like a man! If you are a Bon Jovi fan, don't get all queer on me...it was just a memorable moment.
i realize you like this band and i do too, but to say something like that about a great band like rush not cool just my opinion leave rush out of this
Sorry but rush is boring progressive music. It's not exciting and it doesn't go for the throat. Not my cup of tea. So perhaps you shouldn't promote them on a tpoh video thread, smart guy.
One of my favorite bands.I could swear that was at the Zipper night club in Vancouver. The backup singer was shaking the most lusious breasts.I always wanted to meet Moe.Unfortunately I met him while he was having a leak.I thought it would be weird to shake his hand.Wanted to say something smart but it came out sounding stupid of course.
It's not so much "off key" as it is "flat". Like it would be too much effort to sing "up to key". And you're right, it gives a wonderful bluesy edge to their music. Best TPOH line... Well, I don't hate my parents
I don't get drunk just to spite 'em
I got my own reasons to drink now
Think I'll call my dad up and invite him. :p PERFECT!
Don't get me wrong, I think they are an o.k band. However the vocals are sometimes "off key". This gives them a raw edge. You only have to listen to their albums to hear what I mean. It is good to know though that I am not the only person to have actually heard of them.
Damn, I was at this show. I didn't realise it was so long ago. I felt like I was the only person under 40 in the room (23 at the time).
I'd fucking love to see them again.

amazing band....moe Berg is a genius. the fact that TPOH are not intl. superstars and still signed to a major label is a crime against music.

Screw Rush - best Canadian band ever! Yes, I realize that's a bold statement.

always liked the way they were never quite in key. sometimes bands can be too perfect. At least they sounded real

well I saw them in Melbourne and they were immaculate key. I always thought that they were uderrated.
