@403408 As an englishman I beg to differ, ya had so much more than bands, ya had great fucking beer, hospitallity to the blowins, poitin on tap if ya know where to look and a booming economy 8)
Manchester 7th July - THE BEST Petrol gig - such a great atmosphere from the audience and the Petrols were brilliant on stage, and having a good time. Thanks so much for this song. Robin
"Manic pop thrill " the first album is so good its wrong . Like fucking "idiot" good , like a real "real good " record . Not kidding and then loads of the other shit is fucking brilliant too . No big fucking deal . Hahahahahahahahaha, killer !
Yeh think you're right there, i've got V2 on 12" single. wish i could find Keen :) Always loved the sleevenote on the back of V2, so true of the times, how shit was back then :(
The first time I saw these guys was in 1985, I think, they were playing support to Echo and the Bunnymen in the SFX in Dublin they were great that night and I'm going to see them tonight in Dundalk. Can't wait yeah!!!!
I saw these guys at the 'Cathouse' in Glasgow 15 years ago. Awesome gig!! This was the song I was most looking forward too. They should have been more succesful.
Always a refreshing and powerful song to listen to. Have loved it ever since I first heard it while living in London. There's a wonderful energy in Sensitize. I even named my arts and writer's forum after this track. So many good memories :) ...
they didn't revert to their original names jjj7477 they just used the irish versions of their names for effect . mind you anyone who knew still called them john damian raymond etc
Blimey this takes me back. Saw the Petrols at a free festival in Brighton around 89/90 I think.

As Irish as former Undertones can be, guess they became more Irish in TPE as they reverted to their original names.....
