George Harrison did the bass guitar in the real song back in 68' for the Beatles (White Album). Paul played the Lead Guitar with John doing Lead aswell.

Thats no REAL Hofner, you've scrubbed the letters off the trussrod cover. I can see because the mounting screws are wrong, and the pickguard is wrong. And the mouthing was a little camp as well.

@mortuus69 I'm not 100 percent confident, but the bass on the record sounds like a Fender Jazz. I listened again and it could be Paul (he used a Jazz bass for a few tracks), but George and John used a Jazz Bass pretty frequently on this record (Helter Skelter). Plus, the guitars on the record both sound like Epiphone Casinos, and by "The Beatles" George was using a Les Paul by then, but Paul and John still used theirs. I may be wrong though, because they did a lot of overdubbing then.

i found that it's so difficult to play Paul's bassline with a regular long scale bass. Is it because his basslines are designed to play on his small scale hofner baby?

@MrAntone97 This is a right handed bass. The handedness of a bass or guitar is determined by what hand you hit the strings with. I'd go to your local music shop and try out both left and right handed basses, see which feels better.

@Keilz the icon is only $369, very cheap compared to its other brothers, but the rogue is also a good bass.
