What is revolutionary is that they've started making sound booths with silent fans, either way if you're going to build a decent studio worthy of commercial recordings, you need a decent room anyways, personally i would have got rid of that window he put up and just bricked up, insulated, plastered, carpeted and then diffused the wall, but that is fairly pricey!

It doesn't change and you havn't come up with some revolutionary means of being more "efficient". You mention you have 1000 sq ft, add your equipment, probably a 4 ton, (good to 1600 sq ft). You say you can cool 4000 sq ft, that would be a 10 ton. True, (and quite logical), you would locate the unit far away. No registers? Moron...
