Are the judges unfair then? I dont understand why she isnt penalised for the hyperflexion as it's so bad. She wins everything nearly, either shes doing something right or someone is judging unfairly....
it seems to me that all dressage riders crank their horses heads in. it isn't actually proper flexion. you should look it up and see how much of what they do isn't right at all. now if there horse could do this on a loose rein thats proper dressage.
I agree about the loose rein. Ive seen videos of horses trained through natural horsemanship of varying forms working without bridal or saddle, not even a halter but completely free and working in outlines similar if not so deep as this, but of there own accord, without being forced or even asked, but because they want to.
also..(sorry should have put this in the other one as well instead of writing two) can some please explain why they use a double bridle? I have heard dressage described as harmony between horse and rider, surely they should use less tack not more? Why is it used , is there a tradition behind it, like the whole doing everything on the left because of a cavalryman's sword etc?
behind the vertical nearly the entire time back legs trailing what a shame such a lovely horse and rider... type in regardez moi if you want to see a 'correct' dressage horse that is not trained using questionable methods
I was there in the stands watching that! It was so good!!

More extreme, severe hyperflexion and cruel, severe bit, WON'T THEY EVER LEARN TO HAVE BEAUTY WITHOUT ABUSING THE HORSE??
