  • was this guy the bass player on the original recordings?

  • But why did you change your name from the Dylan album harv? peace!

  • I've always thought that "Harvey's Theme" would be a great soundtrack for a big city crime drama. CAn I find a longer version than the SS cut?

  • also top end tune .

  • Great post!

"Highway 61" is pretty much my favorite album...i've listened to it about 1000 times.

  • Thanks for posting.

  • Harvey how about a series on the Fabulous Rhinestones. How did the group come about? I heard that Kal David has a blues club in Palm Springs? What a super group! Every song on all three albums were fantastic. I'm a bass player 60 years young now and you and Peter Cetera were my biggest influences . Much love

  • Not him. Always been a bass player. Thanks for tuning in though.

  • yeah, just found out that guy's name is Albert Brooks not Harvey Brooks, hehe, big fan though of the bass heard on Highway 61 revisited, real bluesy

  • Long Live Harvey Brooks!!!!!

    From another refugee from Queens

  • It would be interesting to hear Harvey Brooks about his collaboration with Karen Dalton... they did a wonderful album

  • I'll include that in the next sessions we do. Thanks for the suggestion

  • I found "In My Own Time" superb... I've been listening to it for long time. Not only for the intense, marvellous voice of Karen... even for the arrangements too. And it's Harvey's production, is it?

"In a station", "Something on your mind", "How sweet it is" are my favourites.

I'm looking forward to hear the next interview!

  • it may take luck in many instances but harvey, you are where you are cuz your feet are on the ground. right where the "bottom" begins...cheers mate

  • Harvey - This is really a treat to see...Hey, let's jam again when you're back in the holy land - I'll have a track waiting for you this time - Best, Bradley

  • This is very cool! Thanks.
