Why don't pala tanks use SoV?

thats an iffy question. Pallys can use SoV but they can also use SoR for more holy damage per swing, plus the judge. They are both good tanking seals but SoV should be used mid fight for some steady aggro building, SoR, in my opinion should be used beginning for a quick aggro burst, so to speak. But i specced ret 3.0.2 so not really sure anymore...

you just need righteous fury spam consacration and holy shield :D and sometimes use seal+judgement... :D

dude, you keep forgetting keeping your holy shield up. There is no way to tank 10 mans and 25 mans if you forget HS. Forgetting it, makes you open to be crushed

Only mobs at lvl 73 (bosses) can land a crushing blow. Some bosses cannot crush, such as bear boss in ZA. Nothing in SWP can land a crushing blow.

Tanking is not hard i have a 70 paladin tank. Xiodin on amun'thul server it mainly about gear, Skill can help but most ppl can just tank and spank.

when i play my pally, and do mech or something i dont use CC becuz if a hunter trys to trap 1 i end up pulling agro from it with consencration and they get mad...lol, CC i find is usless with a pally tank.

just a mixture of Badge/heroic/kara gear. was near enough full epic - mostly the kara warrior plate and gladiator tier 1 prot shoulders. and the sun eater as a wep + crest of the shat'ar as a shield. was good geared enough to tank Kara
