Very good, indeed, yes... but honestly, not the best. Yes, you play all the right notes (and a few extra ones!) and in the right order, but that's all you do. Unfortunately, you do not "make the guitar sing" as HM does. I'd give you 9 out of 10. Hank, however, gets 20/10. Can't improve on the original and the best. Still, very well done!

You've got Hanks tone spot on there.....very nice playing.

There's a couple of Shads tunes on my page, I used a 1964 Burns Bison, Check em out if you get chance.

I know he gets that sound you need the middle pick up on the burns on for this song for a starter, then you need a tape echo/delay unit. Alot of reverb not on 10 just round 4-5 maybe 6ish. great technique. light picking and groove it out.
