I often wonder what the viewpoint of this film is. Sometimes I think it sounds terribly anti-adoption. This particular clip highlights the stereotypical adoptive parent who cares about nothing but themselves and who has objectified their child. While there are those out there like that--to call that the norm is not anymore the case. IA is popular because domestic adoption is so difficult, not because the children are perceived to be exotic or docile. My daughter is anything but docile.
What is the point of this film? Are you trying to make a few dollars on the production of this film and recoup any money spent on your adoption? are you trying to encourage people to adopt? are you grandstanding? Why focus on physical differences, discrimation and cost. The two guys talking about sex was very distastful. I think this film is not focusing on the joy of adopting but sensationalization.
What are you talking about, rcoup money spent on your adoption? Are you talking to the documentary film maker or the people who are adopting? Your analysis is all wrong and you might need to examine your own reasons for making such comments. You sound very angry. You should lighten up.
Focusing on the "joy of adoption"? I think that would be more sensationalization than anything else. But obviously you don't understand anything about adoption.
I can't wait to see it, either - I'm a reunited adoptee and had to have hysterectomy at age 29 - I'm 33 now and my husband and I want to adopt but we have to save up lots and lots of money to do so !
wow this is quite interesting!

"How can race be an issue, America's a melting pot of racists or races?" If he said racists, I would concur with that statement.
