these jet need speed to be in a stedy flight u need more speed dude and rise the front soo all the air could tuck under it and make it fly bad ass rc jet
so is this just the pdf blown up 140% then printed and cut out and built? or did you do all the math yourself and make the measurements and cut it? thanks, i'd really like to know.
Yes, I just took the pdf to Kinko's and had them print it out %40 larger. As far as a flight system goes, this was just a prototype, and I didn't like the internal fans much, it was barely flyable. The power system needs to be reworked.
Wish I did, but its in pieces now, basically what seems to happen to my projects. I just cut to fit foam rings with a flat side to glue to the base. But really EDF is not the way to go for the F117, at least not until they drastically improve the technology. I just did this project to see if I could.
Right, 1/2 and 1/3 scale are referencing the scale of the real airplane, but here I am referencing the size of the original Rc-plane, not the size of the real jet.
hey i am building that same f-117 fomy from rcpowers (just the regular size). on the directions it says to set the servos to elavon mode. how do i do that? thanks
whats the difference from EDF jets and ducked fans

wow good job dude! So what if you crashed it!
it looks like you built it from that stira foam/cardboard stuff they sell at the hobby store, am I right?
hell you can rebuild it easy.
I am very impressed

Raise front landing gear... Wings don't like to take off with down attitude unless you have a crazy amount of power.

Oh, He's right actually %140 is based off of the plans from Rcpowers, otherwise this model would be %20 actual... Otherwise I'm 41' tall.

im confused cause in real rc they go 1/2 scale 1/3 scale so on

Ha ha ha ha. Nice crash.
You know, you can get an RTF edf F-117 from places like bananahobby, com for around $200. You might be able to find them elsewhere as well.

Great video! Too bad about the last landing. The EDF doesn't seem to have the "oomph" the pusher model does - nice setup though!
briguy99 3 years ago
No, this is not a setup I recommend, I just wanted to know if it could be done!
