step it up from ipod or skull candy thank you for some reason ppl think skull candy are good..there terrible and cheap...and ipod we all know the ipod head phones are a glorified $1.50 head phone
you gotta wait a while before its voice cracks, so play it for a bit and then the bass will crack and your ears will be sexed up with clean amazing audio.
These do have amazing bass when I first bought these headphones i was pissed because I thought they blew but you gotta leave them overnight playing at a reasonable volume to break them in. I listen to so much dubstep on these and they have plenty of bass. And if you think you want Dre Tours because they have bass, mine broke the day I got them...
If im a big Hard Electro/Dubstep fans, did those headphone would be nice ? I just order them 4 my birthday.. So if there no bass, ill have paid 125$ 4 nothing =/
@gspm23 DO NOT BUY THEM FOR $125 THAT RUINS THE WHOLE APPEAL OF THE SET. You can get them fucking ANYWHERE online for less than that, get them off of eBay or Amazon.
just windering do theese have good bass compared to like a skullcandy titan or fmj just recently ordered theese of amazon. And found out that skullcandy is complete garbage i used to think they were the best. So someone tell me how much bass they have and how they are compared to a pair of skullcandys
Quality headphones have a flatter EQ than your cheap counterparts. If you want bass buy a system for your car. If you want high quality In ear headphones then buy a Klipsch product. If people say these are garbage then they obviously don't have any musical theory knowledge and should stick to Skull Candy.
People need to realize that breaking these monitors are crucial. When I first bought them the first 24 hours, they sounded average and too broad and unrefined crude bass. Its been several months now and they are amazing. The bass is pure and balanced and I can hear all the sounds. Really, these headphones are only good with an audio device with a good EQ to play around with the sound volumes.
i need help i fount a pair of monster turbines(not pros) on sale on amazon for $95 dollars and a pair of klipsch image s4's for 60$ on amazon which ones should i get! Please respond:D
@quinywb If you want to play around with an EQ and have broad variety of sound, get the S4's. If dont want to mess with anything, get the Turbines. But regardless, you need to break them in for at least a month to get the full sound. Its like saying to you want a Corvette with a 6 speed or an automatic.
do you have ideas why my klipsch s4 hiss each time i listen to these type of music (R&B, ROCK) i tried switch ear pieces its still there and letting the earphone burn in for like 72 hrs... I hear the hiss especially using the medium earpiece while listening to Big Sean- My last or Down with the Webster- Shes dope... Im using Ipod nano touch
@arkanis113 S4 has a really un-flat frequency response and peaked around 7kHz. This is why you hear hissing sound. This peak around 7kHz muffles the mid-range signal which in turn makes the overall sound distorted - especially for vocalists. Also, this narrow band emphasis tricked many people to feel that they hear wider range of frequencies.
I love bass a lot just like all of you noobs that know jack shit about sound, but ffs, get it through your thick heads that crisp sound+ non over powering bass > buds overpowering bass with shit sound quality. Listening to all your damn bass songs with those overpowering bass buds is NOT as good as a crisp sound + non overpowering base, trust me you'll enjoy it more in the long run.
@TheJasonSoon No, you don't like bass, but people love bass. That's why Beats are so popular. That's why these headphones aren't as famous as skullcandies and cheap Sony earbuds.
If you didn't know, most people are into hip hop and RnB etc.
@bigdima3 Beats are popular because it's a product of Monster and has been marketed to the "average" user. Then they realize the 300 dollar headphones they bought sound like ass and have awful bass response BUT most sheeple wont notice because they lack music knowledge and think it's sounds good because it "beats so hard". Bass in headphones is meant to be tight and focused and not beating your brains in like a sub woofer. Unfortunately Monster is good at just that, sub woofers, NOT headphones.
@TheJasonSoon You can't argue with people that lack music knowledge and a small sense of image direction. I've been an engineer for 15 years and "Beats" is the worst sounding shit I've ever heard. I couldn't agree more with what you have said. BASS belongs in sub woofers. Tight focused low end belongs in GOOD headphones, such as the Klipsch S4's. Save yourself the breath and energy because MOST people are ignorant and don't have a fucking clue.
@jdmimport13 You've pretty much been an engineer in this stuff for how long I've been alive for broseph, kinda sad to see everyone going BEATS ARE THE WAY TO GO BRO
Would you recommend these or bose headphones? Trying to get the most best sound quality for under 300 bucks. Also I don't care for Bass that much. As long as I can hear the bass but it does not drown the other instruments I won't mind
i have the klipsch S4 headphones and i can crank them full volume and they bump ALOT of bass. listen to DJ bill E bass song BEATS FOR MY VAN and they will bump clear and deep at max volume, its like you are in a car with a system. my klipsch 2.1 media and my klipsch synergy F3 speakers all bump too. i wont buy any other brand and especially not on a $1,000 bose speaker thats only worth $2.27.
whats up with people saying the bass is bad? its not overpowering enough to drown out the highs and mids, but its enough to give your head that good thump. maybe some people have old ears or something
@ColbyRules8 i strongly agree i also have the monster jamz because of the construction of the jamz the sound is much more clearer then these headphonse. Not only that but these are made of plastic which doesnt make them durable but also pollutes the sound unlike the jamz. Monster jamz will shit on all headphones nuff said.

sorry, but i tried these headphones compared them to my Monster Jamz... These are shit, there is absolutely NO bass and the noise cancellation is okay at best. Sorry to pop all of the fanboy bubbles, but these are not worth the money, they even feel cheap.
@colbyrules8 its not for everyone. These are for people that want to listen to balanced audio - or even broader, for people that want to hear audio the way it was intended by the creator. Audiophiles would most likely choose these over your Jamz any day.
@Ditechite I'm an audiophile and the JVC HAFX1X Xtreme Xplosives In ear blow these out of the water and they can be got for 15 dollars, these are very overrated in the audiophile and headfi community, just like the Creative Aurvana Live, Denon ah d1001 and lots of other headphones that so called audiophiles say are great but in fact are mildly terrible!
@Ditechite ya exactly, i was just thinking while i was laying down and i realized that people don't understand what music means, me and my friend cant tell a huge difference between 20$ earbuds and 100$ earbuds and i realized it's because we aren't audiophiles! our ears aren't as sensitive as their ears and our ears cant tell gold from crap, so today i said screw it, if i'm not able to listen to music with expensive earbuds and actually be able to tell a difference i should just get crap earbuds
@Ditechite i wish i could have the ears of audiophiles and be able to listen to music and enjoy music and tell a difference (im not trying to say cheap earbuds can beat these :) )
@Ditechite Talking about jamz huh? I have Monster Turbines that are 80 bucks REAL. I was very suprised to hear they sound Exactly the jamz except for a Super satisfying bass boost. I love great overall audio so with that fact, do you you happen to know how the sound would compare to turbines?
LMAO @ someone who likes Monster Jamz calling anyone a fanboy! Those Jamz still working 8 months later? Go ahead, lie and say they are. I hope you enjoyed paying for the name and looks, but no actual quality.
@ProStreetz1 Yes they do have bass! I have a Inspire 4g and I use the SRS inhancement preinstalled which highers the bass. If you have an android, download PowerAMP from market and youll find a knob on the app to higher the bass! And if you have an iphone...you're skrewed! t(-_-t)
