any major quality difference between the ke3 and ke2? Made in Japan is still high quiality, right?

japan is still nice i guess, but the KE2 has more features, or more expensive and better features, like how the KE2 is neck-thru while the KE3 is bolt-on, or the original floyd rose vs the jackson licensed floyd, the ebony fretboard vs the rosewood. Do some research and you'll see. But the KE2's price is twice the price of the KE3. I'm gonna get a KE3, i wish i could get a 2 but they are way too expensive for me at the time.

or u could get a KE5FR. Its gonna come out later this year. It comes neck-thru, FRT-02000 tremolo (which is the Korean version of the original, made out of steel and everything), and all the KE3 stuff like the pickups.

The guitar is gonna be starting at $1,100 (or $1,099.99 if u wanna get specific)

yeah, you can replace the LFR with an OFR and it'll be cheaper AND better than the ke5fr. Tho it won't be neck-thru, but that dont matter. Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Michael Angelo Batio, and Malmasteen all use Bolt on necks.

I have the same one, the cutaway isn't as huge as i'd like, so you do have to work for it a little, but i've got pretty chunky palms, try it out in a store first.

Its been modded up now, swapped it with a dinky neck so it has a cooler look lol. I paid about 650 pounds ($1200 roughly) I have a KE-2 as well, I will uploading it once I nail some good riffs
