cueing the vynil. instead of look for the pattern on the vynil to find the cut you're looking for, you put a sticker and the needle will skate direct to the sound. :)
The aahhhh sound as well as the fresssshhhh sound is almost on every battle break (just as bigboscoe said). My favourite is A-Trak - Gangsta Breaks; nice other sounds on it, too.
The "Ahhh" Scratch . Its on a lot of songs. You can find it on Fab5Freddy's "Change the beat" (The original song it came from) or DJ Rectangles's Ultimate Battle Weapon (Either version). Most scratch/break records have it.

A tear IS a baby scratch but with a pause(s) while the sound is being played.
So instead of scccrrraaattccchhh
it's sccc rrr aaaa... you get the idea I hope
