  • Crank it to 11!

  • i made that pedal for 15$

  • IMO these sound best into Marshalls & Princeton reverbs.I had one I bought new from Bill then sold it a few years ago.

  • Nate Diaz plays guitar.

  • I have had a Klon for about 6 years and it is vital to my setup. Gain is set at 3, tone just below half, and output at 1 oclock. I almost never turn my volume on my guitar all the way up so it is a nice clean tone that sounds like you have your amp tubes in major overdrive cause you have lots of sustain and power but a super clean tone and nice low volume in the club. Strat into a 65 twin reverb, and an array of pedals, fuzzface, ts9, LTD overdrive, and klon is the only one that is NEVER off!

  • Have to say you look a lot like David Silver from Beverly Hills 90210 :)

  • @Tolver10 I thot the same thing! ha!

  • nice playing and great tone!!

  • Love Burgundy Mist.

  • Nice man. Also, my Schlitz 12 Oz. is great for killer tone too.

  • a buddy of mine modded my ts9 and added a few toggle switches for tonal options. this thing is a fulltone killer!! I wish i could afford a klon. nice stuff man.

  • niiice playing man seriously sounds like matt schofield! what strings do you use? (apologies for the odd question!)

  • owned one for 8 yrs now, love it. If your TS9 is not cutting it, try one. You cannot get the vibe without playing one. I have tone and output at noon, and add gain to suit, usually barely on. BUT....I also roll the gain up and down during a gig, using my left foot. Simply amazing...my wife was pissed at me for spending that much. If you want to avoid similar wrath, I suggest the Barber line of pedals. Much cheaper but still great.

  • Sounds good

    Good demo! Thanks

  • Thanks.

  • woah! we have the same shirt!

  • Prime tones!

  • where did you buy the klon?

  • I bought it from the builder, Bill F. - 8 years ago.

  • hey, how do you get a hold of one of those Klon Centaurs? how much? where do you get them?!

  • send Mr Finnegan the dough, and wait your turn. Google up klon-siberia....or try Boutique Tone in Montreal. if you want squishy glassy fine grain distortion, the Centaur wont make you happy. Its strong in the mids, and if you have a great guitar and a good amp, it will change your life.

  • $400 Klon into a $400 Amp

  • It it made it sound good! I have other amps too ya know... :)

  • more like $400 klon into a $700 amp

  • @stuman04 Hot Rods are no joke. I've got a Hot Cat 30 ( probably about $1400) and if I ever needed a new amp I'd almost certainly go with the Hot Rod instead... Such a sweet amp.

  • @stuman04 Did you really make fun of the Hot Rod Deluxe?? How dare you.

  • the Klon is GOLD

  • i use a ibanez tube screamer with a brown mod for boosting my clean chan. never used one of these. i like the fat 50's sound

  • bronze mod you mean? i tried the silver mod TS-9... didnt like it that much, it lacked low end depth

  • no, its called the brown mod. got it off ebay. Ive been using my boss super overdrive into the green channel of my DSL100 with my les paul and it sounds monstrous!

  • man, i gota ts9 for boost, but i think is to much midrange, when i turn the pedal on, i lost my bass frequencies, i'm searching for a clean boost, a boost that don't change the sound of the amp to much, klon centaur can do that? or klon is mid range to?

    thank you

  • Xotic RC Booster.

  • Klon solo hay uno coño. Non si discute.

  • I am going to have to make one of those! Was contemplating the build but now I am definitely building one. Thanks for the demo.

  • Nice little demo, i have the exact same pups in my strat. But i dont really know if i should get a hot rod or a JCM 800 4212.

I was leaning towards the Marshall, but after seing this im completely lost. You had some nice Hendrix-like sounds in there.

  • Awesome tone!!! What are the settings on the Super?

  • great demo. shows the versatility from different settings, pick ups used and guitar volumes. Love the way it boosts just the right frequencies. thanks.

  • It sounds decent with the gain all the way down, as a clean boost, but the Klon's own drive sounds unpleasant.

  • I love the overdrive.... That's how I've always used it - gain wide open.

  • @diablo76 +1 me as well

  • @okearthling using pedals as a clean boost is far too subtle for my liking. if you want to add volume, why not just grab a ehx linear power booster or a bad monkey. i love almost any kind of gain, you just have to write something to suit it - not the other way round.

  • If you can afford a Klon why in God's name are you playing a Snot Rod Deluxe?

  • I've had the Klon for 8 years. The HR Deluxe is the only amp that stayed after going through a dozen other amps. I now use a '67 Super Reverb.

  • oh man, killer blues tone you have there!

  • how many pedals do you have?

  • wow. I want one!

  • what gauge strings do you use man? You have like.. THE SRV sound!

  • Boomer's 11-50

  • bad ass tone man
