What about stickers (I collect lots of stickers) they tend to say that the stickers are for personal use, if I put a "Cinnamoroll" sticker on my Wii and then sell the Wii w/ the sticker sticked to it, i'm infringting or whatever it's called, so that's also illegal.
I bet lots of thief here never try this: websites say you can't copy images, etc.from their sites without permission. So just for fun I used to Email companies asking if I could use X picture and use it for a school project, put it in my blog, etc. and I would put "used with permission" and include links and the companies always say "We don't own the copyright for it" or "Sorry you are not allowed" or ur only allow a copy put only for personal use.
@otakutron5 Wow, that sounds pretty dumb, I mean you're not making a profit over it, that's called promoting your work and to get their permission from big companies... what are the chances for them to reply to you? They probably don't have time for that.
@XC0MB4TXEV0LV3D Well I heard they might make something to counter that law cause the video game companies has all controls of the rights of their video games so if they know its doing good for them, they will still allow the users to upload video lets play and stuff. Like I said, the bill needs to be fixed and revises before we accept that they pass it.
I seems highly unlikely that the bill's gonna get passed because, they're gonna send a whole shitload of people to prison. Plus, they're gonna make YouTube pretty useless as the majority of people upload copyrighted stuff anyway, and people also search for copyrighted stuff.
A few reasons why they search for copyrighted stuff is they might want to watch old TV shows from their childhood that may never be re-aired or ever get released on DVD.
@SushiSunshine2000 Exactly! I don't think they will pass this either but just incase, we need to spread the word! And yeah, its the only place where I can look back in the past, might as well download all the videos I always wanted before it gets passed.
*continued* "Kids Incorporated" had really complicated copyright problems which is one reason why it's never been released on DVD. Clarissa Explains it All only got 1 season released on DVD Boxset.
*continued* and I while I do respect the concept of copyright, I do think it's a little bit overrated and taken wayn too seriously. I think people should have the right to do a fan made parody or music video. It's this sort of thing that drives a TV show to being popular. It even happened to Lucky Star.
Oh, and a little bit off topic but I really don't think your moustache and goatee go well with your bright Red T shirt and baseball cap (sorry about that Denox). You might want to change the way you dress in your videos (maybe Denox Live might want a slight makeover) or just shave the beard off. Who agrees?
@SushiSunshine2000 Its okay, I know you are voicing ur opinion, in a couple of weeks I plan to shave it off anyways cause of course I do not like to look old forever, just wanted to see people's reactions on my new look for a lil while. :)
If the bill does pass then everybody will freak and then they will hopefully get rid of the stupid bill
