  • looks like a hodge-podge mish-mash of movements from many different styles (chen, yang, wu, sun etc) that you messed around with and put together in a form. u do have nice flow though in most of the movements- u seem very comfortable and quite un-incumbered. i would say that your kicks need some work, though. good job

  • @marathonTmatt thx, my kick is because I have serious leg injury and I was forcing myself to do the form here for my own record only. Sorry about that. It's not a mix, it's a form by it's own and they just sometimes looks like the other style because if you see wudang taichi, they look like yang, if you look at x, they look like Y too, just "similar" doesn't means it's from that style. you see single whip in taichi but also in baji and shaolin, they are different.

  • @Chiinnature

that's true about the movements and other styles, good point. interesting. i'll have to watch again, then.

  • @marathonTmatt enjoy~ I also have another form called Tin Yat Dragon Fist on my channel, I have did 6 vids to explain all the applications too, check my channel out~

  • Just wanted to do an update review. I took some time off from this form when I started doing Chiinature's Dragon Fist form, but I've gotten back into it now in addition to the Dragon Fist form. This is a great long form practice... it turns out that there is absolutely zero martial arts dimension to this practice... but the energy feels great. I do it in the afternoons mostly, but I'm hoping to get into the habit of doing it first thing in the morning to get the day off to a good start.

  • I'm super happy with it!!! Maybe it can train me to be a push hands bully some day too! Hahaha!

  • I"ve been doing this form for about a week and already my wife says I look younger and healthier! I look forward to the more in detail Tin Yat Taichi course!

  • @Taomania108 that only happens because you joined the Tin Yat Taichi Tag-Along course, and that is the main reason why you got such good results~! It's not the martial art part that made it happen, it's the taoism magic part, haha!

  • Thank you for your support!
