Isn't is great that even though we grow a wee bit older there are those of us who still appreciate Bryan's music and his talent. Mind you, he is still going strong, doing the 'clubs', being with friends and family...and a 'growing' family one at that.
I really believe that Bryan was one of the great Aussie pop singers the 60's. And, one of the most under-rated. Unlike some of his contemporaries, Bryan was capable of moving effortlessly between musical styles, and the consistent quality of his singles makes all of them worth searching out (the 'b' sides are usually excellent, too). I'm surprised that somebody like Raven hasn't released a multi-label retrospective as yet. Nice to hear that he's doing fine these days as well.
Just loking at stats, Mr. Gorton was a great-deal older than Bryan. Should Mr. Gorton have attended the same school, it would have been a long before Bryan's era.
Bryan was a prefect at my school when this was released. It was played over loudspeakers into the playground at recess. We liked to try and throw fruit at him.
I have been searching for this song by Bryan Davies for many years

Hi,
Well, fancy that pmpnbc...you must be his age (?). He went on to become an international success..did you?
Why did you throw perfectly good fruit at Bryan?
I would think, knowing him, that he would have ignored you. am I correct?
What did you do with your life pmpnbc?
