I read a synopsis of this movie (havent seen it yet) and it seemed to have a slightly similar storyline to the Ring (minus the whole 'climbing out of the TV' thing). Is that right? I might watch it on iplayer
I like you expected an average plotted movie with some shocks and thrills. And despite some good moments the movie left me flat. Were the filmmakers using the sheep as a euphamism about us the audience flocking another also ran. It felt like that to me.
i saw this movie forever ago but i can never forget it... revisiting it now because it was so amazing the first time i watched it, im gonna watch it again!
You guys DO know that the reason a lot of movies have these creepy black long haired girls in them is because A: Americans ripping off of japan movies or B: Americans REMAKING a japanese movie.
In Japan that is how certain demons are portrayed, long black hair (asian duh) and a girl. . so..haha yeah
why is it always a little girl that dies and returns from death to haunt some people? ... works best when the family that is haunted has a daughter, that´s exactly the same age/ same look or else as the poor dead girl
@xSweetHoneyBeex defo watch it!!! best movie EVER!! its like soo scary, small bit gruesome, but the storyline is just fantastic!! but remember while watching... "one of the living, for one of the dead" remeber that... it will come...! but watch it definately!!

Did you guys know of the film where there are these skeleton monsters, that can only be kept away with light? and the main characters have to wield torches just to keep them at bay?
@TheUnbeholden I don't know about skeleton monsters but theres a film called darkness falls where an old ladys spirit takes the form of 'a tooth fairy' and she only comes after you in the dark - the characters use light to keep her away...actually... I do know the film your on about! Its on the tip of my tongue, I'll come back when I remember! :)

@bobgrantsbus ok so it's not the scariest movie out there, not scary at all actually but after watching it i'm in love with how suprised it left me. there's nothing i hate more then a predictable movie and this movie hit the spot for me, from watching the trailer i thought right away that this movie was going to be an average played out possesion movie but there are a lot of twists and turns that make this movie worth a watch...that is if you like mystery/suspense movies, but horror it is not

the uninvited (remake of asian horror a tale of two sister)- great twist at the end
mirrors- bit bloody, but still a thinking film.
Stir of echoes- still creeps me out.
shutter- awesome film, id recommend the korean version instead of the american remake, its loads better, but if your not a fan of subtittles the american ones not unbearable it just has less continuity and isnt as scary.
errrm...what lies beneath, they wait, the watchtower. hope you like them :)
