I think, next song to adopt for Turkey would be an Armenian National Anthem :) Nothing against cultural exchanges, but at least some acknoledgement of borrowing someone else's song would be nice. By the way, Mousavi's campain is using "Sari Siroon Yar". Again, no acknolegement. Seems like Armenian songs are liked by many and that's not a bad thing. But it would be wrong for Iranians and Turks to pretend it is "their own" tune. I'm against that kind of "borrowing" :)

What hurts me MORE than the Turkish video clip is the cheap, shallow and immature comments made by many Armenians who have watched this clip and are surprised by it. If we Armenians wish to do a service to our nation and dignity, what we need is an organized campaign to challenge this and SHOW everyone the true origin of the song. Turks are descendants of barbarian tribes . They stole everything it is in their nature. Most of the things achieved during the Ottoman era (except wars and killings) was built by other nationalities brought into Turkey: craftsman from the Middle East (under their rule), Egypt Syria etc Armenians from the occupied land, the alphabet (once Arabic) was changed later to the Latin letters!
