  • Yup dogs have sympathy for others ;)

I always think of that everytime when a ambulance siren is heard.

  • Our malamute does it, they all do it.

  • Haha mine always do the same!

  • He's stunning!

  • That's AWESOME

  • wow now THAT is a howl, that Mute is hitting them notes hard

  • I would love to have that dog. Nice strong howl to keep them bad people away ;)

  • I had a malamute as a kid, up until I was 14 (she lived to 19 years of age). She had a special bark/howl when there were hot air balloons passing over the house then we knew to run outside and see them. She was awesome.

  • I have an Alaskan Malamute.... we have had him almost 2 years... we got him when he was a puppy and I have never heard him bark.... he growls and whines and howls.... but never not once have i heard him bark.... lol they are beautiful dogs....

  • I love your dog!! I want one. Greetings from CHILE!!

  • My dog (alaskan) does it to ice cream truck music haha

  • its a shame will is shit at call of duty

  • Well i live in Australia where it REALLY gets hot & my malamute manages the heat just fine. Would never consider shaving her, wouldnt want 2 risk skin cancer.

  • Love it! That'll definitely curdle your blood!!!

  • thats the exact kind of dog i want

  • I. WANT. ONE.

  • that howling is so beautiful.Malamutes are very natural I think.they don't lose their nature,I love that. They look like giant cuddly wolves I think :D

Thats because they are my favourite dogs <3

  • I'm looking to buy a malamute but there is one problem. I like in Bulgaria and although we have pretty cold winters the summers are twice as hot. The summer season starts from mid May until mid September. My Question is/ is it a good to buy a malamute for such continental climate and can I still jog with the dog during the summer period? I live near the sea and a river so swimming wont be a problem ;)

  • @nettramp123

well, i live in maine, and my malamute does just fine with the weather. the day we got him shipped to us, his brother went to california, with much hotter weather, so they should be fine

  • @nettramp123 If you're living in that kind of climate, I would definitely take the dog out for frequent swimming in the summer, maybe even keep a pool in your backyard so the dog can swim on hot days. Jog during the cooler times of the day, like early morning and late evening. Even consider getting the dog shaved during the summer. That's a lot of bulk to heat up!

  • @nettramp123 Dogs with long hair actually manage the climate better than dogs with short hair. The reason is because they have two coats. The one you can really see is the over coat. The one that keeps them warm is the undercoat. In the spring, when it gets warm, dogs with undercoats shed them in a process called blowing a coat. It happens twice a year in anticipation of seasonal change. Long haired dogs are fine in the heat (to an extent).

  • it just gose at it sing it baby

  • GOOD BOY

  • sdf

  • could just see it walking through a dark street no one around you here that howl i know i would run like fuck :D

  • @InsaneBreakdown hah cause it just comes out of knoware

  • Malamutes are bigger than german sheperds and one of the strongest breeds of dogs

  • my huskies and mal are howling at the video now,al 4.....where's that headset again

  • my dog i had was a husky and malamute he would wake me up in the middle of the night howling at a dead deer or moon i ve heard every7 full mooon husky even malamute howl at the moon .

  • Also this is how ' Chewbacca ' got his howl from as George Lucas had a MALAMUTE when he done the 1st Star Wars film...!

  • Yup. More trivia here, the dog's name was Indiana (inspiration for another character, as well as a joke on that very character.)

  • Lol my Malamute Koda howls along with sirens also does it if you ask him to talk.. very seldom will he bark

  • these dogs amaze me. (:

    I'm getting one next year.

  • Loooooooooooooooooool

  • hes sooooooooo beautiful yea. I love Mals and huskies

  • Mine does the same thing at any sierens! And sometimes the ice cream van! He hates cherry pickers too.

  • omg my al mal howls at sirens and when i was looking at this too

  • My dad always says you can tell malamutes from huskies because they have a huge head and tiny ears.

    This video is proof XP

    so cute. I love malamutes.

  • Beautiful dog

  • love it

  • haha.. cool.. i love Alaskan Malamute..

  • My dog (an Alaskan Malamute) does the same thing.....

  • Lmao. XD sooo awesome!

  • My hole lifetime I ask me why the dogs are howling if they hear I siren. Does somebody know the answer? Cause the sirens sound is not little similar to dogs howling...

  • i heard the reason they howl at a sound like that is because the sound hurts their ears, so they howl to balance it out

  • No...they sense that DEATH is nearby....

Accompanying the person in the AMbulance.

  • sounds like a tornado siren!

  • holy mother

thats one heck of a howl!

  • he sounds and looks like my alaskan malamute

  • That's awesome! My Mal, Tundra, actually does howl at a full moon. I need to get it on tape and post it. Great looking Malamute you have there.

  • man u can hear a mallie's howl like for blocks away i ahve one nd i soem times can hear her wen im comign home nd im liek theres my doggy verry good dogs gentle too well mine is.

  • I had an Alaskan Malamute myself. His name was PyeWhy. He was a great mate. Weighed 58kg and was a gentle giant to the kids and friends. A bit of a hand full around other dogs but an allround top notch buddy.

This grey really reminded me of him.

    Loved it!

  • i guess they always howling, do they bark?

  • well i hav an alaskan malamute and like rarely she barks when she wants to come inside or she howls when we're playing with her, but it hardly ever happens. i think its just in her nature. shes an absoloutly beautiful dog and we love her to pieces <3

  • dont forget how much they'll talk too! that sorta "wowowow" they'll do when you talk to them! XD i love mals! dont have one (my friend did) such good natured dogs

  • I don't know if I'm correct, but someone told me it hurts their ears. Which possibly causes them to howl. I've seen other dogs do it as well. I don't truly know though.

  • ur mallies huge

  • My huskies love to sing too but to an Aussie siren my neighbours just have to get use to it

  • Close your eyes, and imagine the night.

[in the gehtto since theres a ambulance]

But itll send a chill up your spine.

  • That's ahowl that will wake the neighbors! Great!

  • wow it such a beautiful sound

  • @Jensine2000018023 it isn't at 3am, believe me, our mally Jasper won't stop :S

  • @smileyguy24 lol i guess i kinda know what you mean by that my German Shep likes to sleep by my window and when he gets bored at night he howls to wake me up lol

  • @Jensine2000018023 Jasper's nearly 13 months so he gets really hyper and somtimes when he won't stop you feel like going in their and throwing a brick. lol, naw i wouldn't but i'd probably tape his mouth shut or summin ^_^

  • @Jensine2000018023 u dont have this dog for sure ... buy it and then after 3 sleepless nights we will se if that is still "beautiful" SOUND for u

  • @Eclipsepoland I have no doubt about that! Guess for now you'll have to invest in some awesome ear plugs lol

  • haha i dont have a malamute but my dog always howls at sirens

  • I just read somthing that confirmed what I susepcted all along -- that Mallie howls are indistinguishable from a wolf howl ... now that is cool!

  • Aw thats soo cool like xx

  • my golden retriever will "talk" but not actually howl.

    it's pretty funny.

  • My Malamute never howls.

He play-growls constantly though, he uses it to talk to me. I love him so.

  • I wish my malamute howled! He only does it when we leave!

  • lol no u dont they howl wen u try 2 sleep its a pain in my ass

  • I think every Malamute owner have a smile. Whenever mine did it people used to jump away, because they thought a Wolf is coming to eat them. Mine did it always when he was happy or you had some food

  • wow that was awesome and cool sweet :d ha ha i love these dogs they are so frickin aesome :D

  • omg my dog baloo does that every time(he's a malamute too) it gets so annoying omg lol btw very cute dog lmao

  • so cute! my mal is only about a year old, but he has a very developed chest that makes him sound bigger. really awsome mal.

  • That's great! I had a mal that would do that out of the car window, it was kind of embarrassing, every one would stare! They think their pack is going by without them, haha.

  • Lmao. XD sooo awesome!

  • Gorgeous!

  • hahaha mine howl at the ambulance siren.... the noon siren .. even the train horns it was good

  • i like the voice howl

  • that is so cute. I have an alaskan malamute too. a VERY talkitive dog. with my dog if you are laying on the ground he walk up to you and sit on your lap! :)

  • Lol, when the siren dies, just stick his head out the window and have him howl!
