  • lol that went by fast, and I'm not too darn good at technical stuff, but I do know a cool clock when I see it. And an awesome talent! Great video, have an excellent weekend! :)

  • I loved 2TheLeftOfNoWhere's clock. All of the clocks were cool. I came up with this at the last minute, but his clock works!

You have an excellent weekend too! :)

  • Cool beans! What were you doing up at 4:30 am?

We must be twins b/c I was up then too.

I never see any bees anymore.

    Where did they go?

    Mooz

  • Moomay dear! Hi! I was up early! I go through phases when I go to bed early and rise early but that isn't always the case. The bees ... there's a decline, and scientists are looking at the problem. I'm working on that video right now, but I put a link on my channel to the Pollinator Partnership website. I'm truly hoping to help make an impact because the YT community can make a difference. The more I read, the more I think we all work together to play a role in this. :)

  • National Pollination week?? We need more bees.. they're becoming a rarity over here in the Uk.. :)

  • I just found a March 2009 update about this subject on the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs website. National Pollination Week was June 22-28, but this issue isn't restricted to the U.S. obviously. I'm hoping that my video can help to encourage people everywhere to look into their respective countries' environmental agencies to learn about the specifics where they live.

This next video did put my SOSL model in a holding pattern, but that's just temporary. ;-)

  • What a timely video.

  • Haha. Hey, how are you? I've been thinking of you off and on over the past few days. Specifically, I was thinking of our comment exchange about "community on You Tube," and asking myself questions about it ... "what defines community," and so forth.

You made me think ... just letting you know. :)

  • Thinking is good, I should do more of it.

I have been in North Carolina for the past month and the Internet connection was dismal, so I couldn't watch videos.

I'm back now and trying to catch up, so I'll be seeing you around.

    Keep the great videos coming!

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL VID, liked your editing, very creative!

Polination is very important, very scary to think of it not happening anymore, seriously! :) Thanks

  • hucgirl18, thank you for watching. I'm glad I've made the point about pollination, but you're obviously already on board. This is where the You Tube community can come together. Not to put too fine a point on it, stewardship is the watchword, and we are empowered to make a difference.

I'm becoming very passionate about this. Can you tell? :D

  • sweet clip and clock my dear Count !

    SPRINKLES

  • Thank you Mighty!

    Thought I forgot, didn't you? :P

  • i like the clock.

    hell,

    i like this video.

    i even like your tat.

    loves from texas

  • Whyyyyyyy, thank you, bugsme10! I like you too, and I like Texas! :D

  • how's amanda?

tell her hello and thanx for looking out for you.

i hope i will be as blessed as you.

  • She's fine! She just called me too. She's coming by in a bit, so she'll see this and love the attention!

Amanda is here now! She came while I was typing, and said 'thank you!" :)

  • YOU 'RE WELCOME

    AMANDA !!! ; - D

  • best 'o' luck too btw!

  • Thanks! I usually need it. :P

  • ahhh.. the Count, is on.

Nice to see you again, and regularily (spelling?..word even??)

  • Hiya cheeptorque! It's always a joy to see you! I kant spel. Regluar? Religurly? I don't know. What do I know? :D

  • CamStudio might come in handy. Thanks for the tip. Free software, what's not to love?

  • Free! I'm taking it! I still haven't read into the specifics of it, but it was fairly easy to figure out. I'm sure there's a great deal more to learn though.

  • I'm doing my best to move all my software needs away from to pay for, big corporations produced versions.

  • Love it!! Very cool

  • Thanks! As it happens, I love Tweety Bird! :)

  • lol ur silly

  • I are very silly! :P

  • There's a lot of amazing free programs on the net, the big boys (large corporations) dont like them very much!

  • I don't suppose they do Rowdy, but they still seem to be doing well for themselves, at least at the corporate head level.

  • noice!

I like paintnet - a great free editor.

  • I'll look for it Lesley. I've been using Pixia for about a year, and I do like it, but there is no help section and I don't understand how to use some of the features. I just look at them stupidly. :D

  • NinjaJessie1 and her sons are a riot. Doddle of course is out there in precious. To2theleftofnowhere (something like that lol). Wow did he knock it out of the park. I didn't even partcipate how cool are you for doing that. I just sat and thought I am not mechanical.

  • I couldn't believe to2theleftofnowhere's clock! I wouldn't have had any idea of how to do that! A trip to Radio Shack would have been in order, but I still don't think it would have helped me. :D

  • Oh gracious you did something cool. I just sat here and scratched my head. Now going off to do Themakeupaddicts challenge. I cn only guess how poorly I ll do on that but more up my alley. Anything mechanical I so can't do for a fan or clock.

  • Even after all that time and work you put into creating it, you'll STILL forget to take it with you, and have to call me to ask me what time it is. LOL

  • Take what with me? Moosie, you're always bugging me about stuff I don't even know what!

    My brain. Hertz.

  • I hear ya...Can't say no to the Doodle bug! Cool clock. Wow... late hours!

I'm all about the pollination. We need more Honey Bees. Planted more flowers this year to attract more bees. Hope you do not mind if I subscribe. HUgZ sugar!

  • Hi kismet0717! Thank you for the sub. Of course I don't mind! I'll assume you won't mind if I sub in return. ;-)

Domestic honeybees have lost an appreciable percentage of their hives. You will be interested in this, I think. One of the people who allowed me an interview is Steve Buchman, author of "The Forgotten Pollinators." The other is Laurie Davies Adams, Exec. Dir. of Pollinator Partnership. There is so much more I want to say, but I'll give their video my best attention. :)

  • You are fun!

  • Thanks! Life is a blast, but -- unfortunately -- my clock only works twice a day, and it doesn't have bells and whistles and fans and stuff. :D

  • Doodle enjoyed your video..thanks so MUCH for participating..

  • Yay!!! I'm so glad he liked it!!! I'm not a Mom, and I don't always know. I think you're a terrific Mom! :)

  • You can compete against him and me, my entry will go up tomorrow! Make sure you attach this to Jessies vid:-)

I love getting polinated, cant wait!

  • Haha! We're doin' what we can Daryl! I'm captioning that video, so it takes a little longer, and I have other footage from their event to work in as well.

I did attach it, but I think Jessie has to approve them. I set mine to appear without prior approval, but two aren't showing at all. I don't understand what's going on.

  • I know it will be wonderful as always:-)

Looks like the Doodle has seen your video already.

  • if you click the links on 4:30 on the side bar you hear YOU make a wild sound. FUN.

  • HAHA! I did it a few times Meg! I thought I was the only person who clicked on numbers in the sidebar just to see what would happen.

  • wow this was COOOOOOL..

  • i had fun! It was a good excuse to play, but if I were a child, I'd be jazzed if older people did things like this for me. I hope your day has been the best Meg!

  • well we'll see. Darlin we are all children. some of us get to play all day and the rest of us sneak it IN!!! YES my day was excellent...thanks for speading the wealth.

  • Lol, I'm still trying to learn how to copy & paste. :) squince

  • Cut & paste? I have scissors and Elmer's. I can, therefore, cut & paste. :D

  • Cool clock! The hands are appropriately a bit bent to remind us of legs running, or fleeing like time flies... I like!

  • Holy cow, Andy, I never even noticed that! I had to look at the clock again after I read your comment.

I should have drawn little feet.

  • yea I can see that :)

  • Oh man! I wish I could do this clock again! DO OVER! :D

  • Never too late! I need to flee to work now...

  • Thank you so much for all these wonderful links.

Now I can download even more stuff I can't figure out how to use.

Great video by the way.Your looking real good.

  • Thanks Rejean! I know! I can't figure out half of the stuff on my computer.

I know how to turn it on. :D

  • Rhonda your wonderful!!!!

    Huggs

  • Deanna! Are you talking to me, dear friend, or Rhonda? I'm Betty. Betty the Perpetually Confused. Seriously. That really is my whole and entire name ... Betty the Perpetually Confused. :D

  • hey kalacaw, u should think about doing a tut on how to do what you did to make the clock i bet you would get alot of hits. God Bless, keep making great vids.

  • Hi Larry! That's a great idea but I'm afraid! I don't know enough about Pixia to prepare a good tutorial. The help menu doesn't function, and I've only used it for basic graphic work. I still have to learn more about Camstudio as well. I just downloaded that yesterday, and "winged it" through the making of this video. The lesson is for me to learn more about these programs! Thanks for watching, and God bless back! :)

  • lots of kisses doodle doddle

  • Kisses back dear friend! You're always so kind to me, and I do thank you. :)

  • Oh wow i love this video, you're fabulous!

    Doodle will love the clock

    :-)

  • Trish, you're a dear, and quite fabulous yourself! I hope Doodle does like it. :)

  • doodle-isious

  • doodlemania!

  • Wow..thats pretty nifty!

  • Hi Rhonda! The beauty of doing something for a child is that I get to be a kid and play too. I love to color. Next time I'll use crayons. :D

  • Why disqualify yourself? I didn't see any rules about you can't join if you know the Blue Flamingo or whatever. Ya done good and if Doodle likes yours best, you should win!

  • Well, bless you. I wanted you to see that your good advice about the software didn't fall to the wayside, and this seemed like a good way to try it out. I also thought that since I was using Camstudio, and had learned about it from you, it would be like exploiting you to enter officially. I panic about being fair.

Besides, I like your clock better. I couldn't eat mine. :D

  • What fun....

so can we call it a Doodle Clock? ;0)

  • Oh yes, Ali! Absolutely! It shall henceforth be called the "Doodle Clock!" :D

  • I wonder if LiL Zoe would like to make a doodle clock. That is way cool!!

  • ZT, I've had more fun with Pixia. That's how I do my backgrounds and I've used it to "tweak" photographs as well. The only drawback is that there is no help menu, so I don't understand some of it. LiL Zoe would enjoy using it though, I think. She can draw pictures and express her lovely artistic creativity ... at no cost to Mom.

That's my Motto! "It's free? Gimmie one! Haha!"

  • The way you did your hand on the clock is neat. Great clock.

  • Thanks Becky! I was awake early this morning and did this before finishing my first cup of coffee. I usually can't function before my second cup, so I'm very pleased with myself. :D
