It seems the Seattle police are trying to emulate their RCMP counterparts just north of them in British Columbia where police killings of suspects has become commonplace. What typically results? The cop is either given "desk duties" or suspended "with pay" while the matter is investigated, by his own gang, after which he is found to have used reasonable force. There extensive training is only a few weeks, and even then only a few days out of those few weeks. There training is no more then an average person gets from life.
