"Learning and working on training" Shouldn't that training have been covered BEFORE the cop goes out on the street? I wonder too, would the man who was tasered still be alive if he hadn't been tasered? If the answer is yes, then I'd logically conclude that the taser killed him.
BTW, wasn't it a Seattle Cop who shoved the guy head first into the wall outside a movie theater back in 09? I think the victum of that incident was put into, and remains, in a coma. His name was Christopher Harris.
So what happens to someone who sees a cop about to kill an innocent man and kills the cop instead? Lately it just seems like police have been getting more and more violent. They'll regret it when they've got a massive mob of people turning over police cars and setting fires to police stations.

I mean, it's not like these cops are all out on daily hunting trips, trying to bag their limit of "INNOCENT" civilians. This really is Natural Selection at work ~ if you're too stupid to understand basic civil law, and too belligerent to obey police, you're destined for extinction (not meaning 'you'). And it doesn't help that they feed eachother BS on YT about how 'right' they all are!
@caltch51 And you've got NOTHING to say about any of this, because it doesn't involve your country. Go back to smoking your dope and breeding your little dogs and criticize your own country. If you come here and act like that idiot did, you can expect to get the same reaction he got. You got a lot of nerve sitting in your own failure country and criticizing ours! Mind your own business, tranny.
That's an exceleration that would result in an average of 13.5mph in order to cover 21 feet in one second from standstill. Hilarious, what a retarded former police officer.
Sure buddy, the tazer just per chance was attached to him when he died. It didn't have anything to do with the fact that he was electrocuted. And if a man can cover 21 feet and be on top of someone stabbing them in one second then that would make him faster than a cheetah.
@idontbelieveinDeath But will there be a reckoning? I have been watching the change in police attitudes towards the citizens ever since marijuana started becoming popular in the 60's, when the civil rights and Vietnam protests were taking place. When the police made a decision to follow the orders of their superiors in trying to quash any "uppity" protesters or marijuana smokers the whole relationship between citizens and police changed and it's been steadily getting worse for 50 years.
@1140Cecile Your right about the time frame but i dont agree on the reason. Right around the Vietnam war period the police had a huge influx of ex military joining there ranks. And progressively more and more ex military have become cops. I wholeheartedly believe the military attitude is what caused the problem. Police used to be citizens not soldiers.
@1140Cecile I don't get your point ~ what do you expect? You just described a whole society becoming more lawless and less responsible over a 50 year span, but you blame the COPS? That attitude is really typical, man. "EVERYBODY'S TO BLAME BUT ME", right? Keep smoking that crap and you'll keep thinking that way. It'll make it easier for the cops to identify you as a dissident. If you don't like the laws, CHANGE them. Until then, OBEY them. You remember the 60s but you're still irresponsible?
"learning and working" on it? wtf? that dude is an ass. "call in" to report on the cops...ha that will get you some attention from the police that are killing everyone and anyone
They just tazed some old dude for not leaving his house when the cops wanted him to, for no reason. WTF is up with Seatle, or is this going on every where and only on the Seatle news? I heard the first version of the guy with the knife and the cop came up to him and started the whole thing. BTW she tryed to excuse the cop by saying hes been on the force for ONLY a few years!? Thats not a rookie, a few weeks is a rookie.
@delreydavid My question exactly. What is going on in Seattle? This is crazy. The cops harassed this homeless guy because was whittling on a piece of wood. And who knows about the 27 yr old that refused to leave his apartment. A domestic call gone very, very badly. It appears the training in Seattle is terrible.
@macpduff It seems that is the way media avoids letting the people veiwing the TV dribble acknowledge how bad a problem actually is. A play on words. After all the media is the 'friend' of the status quo not the citizens. Status quo includes pigs are right, courts are right, citizens are the enemy
Surprise, surprise...another police killing in Seattle. It seems the Seattle police are trying to emulate their RCMP counterparts just north of them in British Columbia where police killings of suspects has become commonplace. What typically results? The cop is either given "desk duties" or suspended "with pay" while the matter is investigated, by his own gang, after which he is found to have used reasonable force. Then, he's back on the streets with all his weapons.
@delta9999 Exactly!! They supposed to be training, yet every shot they make is one to kill. If the man was that close that he could get to the officer he was close enough, like you said, to shoot him in the leg.
Wow by that one mans logic then when you shoot someone in the chest everyone guess what it was not the gun that killed him or the bullet, he died from heart failure the bullet only was a minor part of the death. What a shameful example these last few days of when those who take an oath to serve and protect fail to show restraint in dangerous situations. If their training has not stopped this reactionary behaviour more events like this are sure to come soon.
Obviously no one on here has any idea what the rules are for police to use their firearm or a taser. A knife happens to be a deadly weapon and can be thrown or used from short distances. According to the reporting on the taser incident; well there wasn't much of a report except some hippie guy who heard it happen. It sounds like Seattle has the most brutal police force in the world, or maybe it's just the god damned hippies and bums.
@Smarterthanyouarable What rules? Did I say they had the right to shoot him? No. That is great that you graduated top of your class but why can't you come on here and discuss ROE. I am not anti-police like most of the commenters on here. I give the police the benefit of the doubt; they are innocent until proven guilty.
Why don't you defend the police instead of attacking people like myself?
@ChesterMolested Why do the police get the benefit of the doubt over there victims? Neither is more or less human. And yet in every case, police get the benefit of the doubt. Anyone without a record can become a cop. There ability to judge a situation is no better then joe shmoes. And yet they always receive the benefit of the doubt. And we pretend there victims are innocent until proven guilty.
@whiteguypl They should be judged like any other person under the law. I am just sick of people saying the police did the wrong thing when we don't really know the whole story. And police officers aren't just any regular person off the street. They must go through extensive training and have the ability to deal with difficult people.
@ChesterMolested I dont believe that people say they did wrong when they dont know the whole story. Having delt with police so many times ive lost count. They lie. Period. There extensive training is only a few weeks, and even then only a few days out of those few weeks. There training is no more then an average person gets from life. However what they are trained extensively for is to be aggressive. It didnt used to be that way it happened when the police ranks started filling with ex-soldiers.
@ChesterMolested I misread your comment. I thought you were defending the actions of the police in this case but now that I have read it again I see I was wrong.
Obviously no one on here has any idea what the rules are for police to use their firearm or a taser. A knife happens to be a deadly weapon and can be thrown or used from short distances.
