  • Brings back grand memories, what a bang.TIOCHFAIDH AR LA.

  • @sjhannigan1 cunt.

  • There's a male with the youtube screen name "electroexecutoid"(also uses 'electroexecuteee') that is having some difficulty adjusting to his new life. He was diagnosed with the AIDS virus last April, and a girlfriend of mine he apparently trusted at one point, who accidentally leaked out the information that he's dying of AIDS. So, we all pitched in and decided to make a video in his honor..and to help with his money situation. the title of the video is "ELECTROEXECUTOID HAS AIDS". THANKS A LOT

  • @MrSQUETCH

well im gonna march on washington, lead the charge and fight the brigades.

theres a hero inside all of us. ill make them see everyone has aids.

  • People seem to forget that the I.R.A. called in a warning for this bomb, which is more than the British ever did. Miami Showband Massacre, Ballymurphy Massacre, Bloody Sunday(two of them), McGurk's Pub Bombing, Greysteel Massacre, Dublin & Monaghan Bombings(worst atrocity in the Troubles), Loughinisland Massacre, Shankill Butchers... British forces killed FAR more innocent people than the I.R.A. Can anybody give an example of the I.R.A. DELIBERATELY attacking civilians?

  • @ParamoreWorshipper

Oh that makes it ok then - fair enough! WTF!!!

  • @DaveJP1973

Eh, yes? What did they do that was wrong? No-one was hurt.

  • @ParamoreWorshipper

You ask - can anyone give an example of the IRA deliberately attacking civilians?

    Warrington, 1993?

You're either taking the piss, sick or both.

  • @DaveJP1973

Warrington was a failed economic bombing. A warning was called in but the police didn't evacuate the area in time. The P.I.R.A. apologised, and if the P.I.R.A. had been attempting to kill civilians, they wouldn't have called in a warning.

  • @ParamoreWorshipper

I think we'll just agree to disagree eh, I believe in the sanctity of human life and common decency - you don't - fair enough.

  • @DaveJP1973

Like talking to a brick wall. You have no idea what I believe in. "The sanctityof human life". Come up with that yourself? Was any human life taken in this brilliant bombing? No.

Common decency = Callin in warnings. ;D

  • @ParamoreWorshipper

It's blatantly obvious what you believe in - human life means zip to you.

'Brilliant bombing' - What a turn of phrase!

Decency would be not doing the bombing in the first place - although such an outrageous concept is clearly lost on you.

No cause in the world worth a single ounce of Semtex. You belong in the 15th century. I celebrate the fact that every terrorist act you seem to rejoice has not affected ONE IOTA the political landscape and never will.

  • @DaveJP1973

Of course it was a brilliant bombing. No-one was killed, huge economic damage, brought the British to the negotiating table. You sit on your high British horse colonising countries, butchering innocent people, then condemn the resistance. You're a disgrace.

You're obviously one of these peace-loving, utterly unrealistic, "violence solves nothing", hippie types. Maybe if violence hadn't been directed towards the Irish, there wouldn't have been a response.

  • @ParamoreWorshipper

Yep, like I said, you belong in the 15th Century. Just haven't evolved, have you?

Please tell me when the last time the British colonised a country.

And if the British way of life is so bad, please advise me why every civilsed nation on Earth (Eire included) bases its society and values on the British model.

    Get back in your cave.

  • @DaveJP1973

    You're colonising Ireland!

My god, it's like talking to a brick wall. When did I say that the British way of life was bad?! You hear what you want to hear and wont listen to anyone else.

    Goodbye. You're a moron.

  • @ParamoreWorshipper

I'm honoured to be considered a moron by someone who thinks terrorism and mass destruction is a great thing.

I can hear and see quite perfectly what you're saying - terrorism is ok as long it fits in with your warped and blinkered view of the world. No right minded person would agree with you - you seriously need to make an appointment with a doctor as a matter of urgency.

  • evenson ...grow up arsehole ?????

  • o9scruffo9....says it all mate ...up the north xxx down the south where you belong ..

  • and they do it without warning.

  • the british army are terrorists bombing afgan farmer peasents every day, so get of your high horses hypocrite's .

  • cheers lads ............... we get a new manchester xxxxxxxxx

  • @anyone173 owell it can always be bombed again lol up the south armagh p.i.r.a

  • I remember doing a parade in Manchester not long after the bomb had gone off with the Church Lads and Church Brigade and to see the devastation left behind was unbelievable. Blowing people up never will be right, it shows complete lack of respect for human life, while we might be of a different religion or culture at heart we are all people and that shouldn't be forgotten. I am so proud of how Manchester grew from that day but it should never have happened in the first place.

  • @RavenShadowrose Of course it should have happend.Great attack by a great group.A warning was giving,If the IRA wanted to kill that day trust me they would have.Up The P.I.R.A

  • @xBoRnSLiiPpY89 and if we used air planes there would be no Northern Ireland. see we have a pattern here....

  • @xBoRnSLiiPpY89 cunt.

  • She says, "It doen't hit home until you see it yourself." That is the sign of a "False Flag" attack.

  • The Manchester Bomb was an inside job to inflame anger against the I.R.A. and further inflame hatred toward unification goals of Ulster with The Republic or Ireland.

The British Secret Services I suspect planted the bomb. Why else would it have been filmed for the English public to see? It is very possible and to me it is common sense.

  • i was ayear from being born then, and my um and dad and sister was buying a car in the edges, like in salford somewhere and everyone had to evacuate and it totally changed manchester, it was actually a fantastic favour to the cuty for m the stupid bloody IRA!!!!!!

  • ha ha

  • Shame it wasn't old trafford.

  • @Evenson107 The only explosion that will ever take place at old Trafford is the explosion of the trophy cabinet room at it bursts it's seams

  • @Evenson107 pathetic

  • You idiots who get kicks out of IRA murders are the sort who give the Irish a bad name. And not one of you is literate, you just want to blame others for your own inadequacies. With you lot of bigots and failures at the helm, you'd never be able to handle independance, anyway. And independance from what, precisely? You have made yourselves into a war-zone, attacking each other for want of anyone else to attack. These were innoccent people, every one of them. You're a disgrace - and not Irish!

  • it is you that is the disgrace giving us the whole McGuiness speach, your a sellout like the rest of them

  • british tolerance, don't make me vomit, would you plant bombs in germany if they occupied 6 english counties

  • not a bad days work lol

  • The British are amazing people, and an example to the rest of western civilisation. After years of innoccent people being wounded and killed by a minority of lunatics with time on their hands, they never took reprisals against Irish people living on the mainland, and, unlike the supporters of the IRA, they don't waste time fighting ancient battles, living in the past and hating outsiders. It is that tolerance, courage, optimism and commonsense which makes them so admired all over the world.

  • "admired all all over the world" are you fucking serious the brits are one of the most hated race on earth.and you say they never took reprisals against Irish people living on the mainland fuck me man you know fuck all their is a saying "NEVER ARGUE WITH STUPID PEOPLE CAUSE THE WILL BRING YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE" this definitely applies to you...

  • Yes - admired all over the world (and for more reasons than hi-jacking folk songs!) But it is ridiculous to attempt an intelligent discussion with someone who has so little personal worth that they need to define themselves by naming themselves after a country and county.

  • ya right with a name like !Bumblebeeinabluebell" I'm supposed to be insulted your a retard not worth arguing with...

  • Well, it would be better if you learned to write, before you attempted an argument.

  • @BumbleBeeInABluebell What about the guilford 4 or birmingham 6, innocent Irish people who were wrongly imprisoned just because of were they came from. Complete Discrimanation. The USA has your government on a leash and because of that ye walked yourselfs into the 7/7 terrorist attacks. And what about the falkland islands, that battle has gone on too long yet ye are too proud to give them up to there rightful owners, Argentina. The Brittish are not 'amazing people'

  • i just cummed

    Neart le Cheile

  • planting huge bombs in citys seems the great as long as u give warning according to some folks here.grow up.although if we followed the ira example the british could save themselves a lot of trouble by just blowing everyone up who has a gripe off the face of the earth.unfortuanetly we dont.thats ours and in fact the entire westerm worlds weakness

  • @LAGERL0UT Did the IRA do dresden?

  • grow up u freaks.the best thing to happen to ireland was 9/11.americans had a taste of the scumbag way of fighting.adios funding terrorism.i tell you what a fucking joke the world is.

  • LAGERL0UT do you remember shoot to kill !

young irish men how where fighting for freedom and an escape from harsment from the british crown forces and racism groups like the appremtice boys being shot without warnig by brits going little more than someones word! !!

  • and why dont you basterds get the fuck on home and out of the 6 counties

  • Who gives a fuck, warning or not those bastards didnt know or care if there was a bus nearby, people unaware or trapped. They didnt always give a warning. People need to stop thinking that the IRA are freedom fighters, they are murderers. The Irish people have not been opressed by Britain for a hundred years so why do they continue with their murder?. Hasnt sinn fein had enough of its own way? Fuck em.

  • I just laugh at the fact that dispite that Manchester has gone through a horrendous explosion, the authorities have made sure that the traffic will flow nicely with the traffic lights still working!

  • I was six miles away and could hear the blast. glad nobody was killed.

  • The people of Manchester were very lucky. Some people would try have you beleive the ira always leave warnings. However they massacred protestants in there hundreds with no warning bombs. They also claim that british soldiers oppressed the catholic communities ,however the ira killed more catholics than any british soldier. The people of Ulster were taking this for yrs . 9 11 just brought it home to people.IRA, AL QAEDA all the same.

  • dont know where you got your facts from but you are very wrong, the IRA did leave warnings and often the police would ignore there threats because when the bombs went off only the IRA woul look in the wrong. But the ALWAYS gave wrning

  • this was weird.....was in voyagers in the play area at the time.

Lots of noise, glass, dust and smoke

The one thing I remember most vividly as a child is seeing smoke/dust pouring out of the air vents....as a young stupid kid I thought it was "poison Gas". Shit myself!

By the way, that was NOT a controled detonation. The bomb was triggered and detonated just the way the bomber wanted.

At least he phoned ahead and warned, because of this nobody died. thank fuck!

  • Given the recent escalation in gun crime and child shootings in the UK's third city of Manchester, a number of International Embassies are now advising against travel to the city.

Crime statistics show that 1 in 3 visitors to the city become victims of crime during their stay including assault, robbery, rape and murder.

  • I don't know what city you're on about, but after the regeneration, the people of Manchester are a united people. I should know. I live there and visit the city centre every other weekend. The 1996 bombings are vividly remembered and the people are willing to help eachother.

  • There nis nothing united or helpful about a city populated by Guncunians that go round and enjoy stabbing and shooting each other for fun!

    Manchester is adisgrace!!

  • Sadly the huge sums of national money poured into the reconstruction and regeneration of Manchester was largely wasted. Too much national subsidy was given, and a bit of self-help might have actually been better for the city in the long-run. They are still at it - it's caled "Whitehall Welfarism" - where they constantly expect government to pay for and deal with local problems. "We're special we were bombed", "We're special we're second/third/fourth city"; "We're special..." Endless begging.

  • weird that it was so long ago. I remember my me and my mum were goin 2 go shoppin in town but she decided we had to go to Leigh thankgod. My dad was workin that day for the police, had to go out and stop all traffic goin in n out of town, was really worried when he wasnt answerin the phone at work, so glad he was ok :) n i agree it was the best thing to happen, Manchester was goin down hill fast till that happened

  • i remember the say this happened, was at me uncles and we jus heard a boom and then saw loads of smoke

  • watching that opens old wounds-

i begged my mum not to go to work the next day

  • it all seems so long ago now but it could all kick off again so easily, that scares me.

  • If people were injured during this bombing then it was the fault of the Army and the Police.

The bomb was detonized by one of those 'suspect package' robots.

Anyone left in the immediate area were not casualties of war or a terrorist attack, they were casualties of a blunder. Casualties of ignorance, and casualties of pure stupidity.

A controlled explosion, it was not.

  • detonized isn't a word, just thought i would let you know.

  • They would have been victims of the morons who planted the bomb, surely?

  • What's this got to do with muslims?

  • Wonderful stuff

  • Its history, chief. Who else is gonna record stuff?

  • Hurrah for granada tonight!!

  • Why film the tv? :|

  • It's not the TV. It looks like it was filmed in Manchester's URBIS museum (which is well worth a visit)

  • Ahh, fair enough. Doesn't make it better though :P
