Je cherche ce film depuis des années et tout ce que je trouve c'est la version original avec de petites coupures que je ne peux pas ne pas remarquer.

Je viens de lire que la version restaurée a malheureusement totalement écarté la musique et les chants (admirables) en version russe (ce film étant en partie doublée mais les chants et la musique étaient resté intact) C'est honteux! car la "princesse" avait une voix extraordinaire. Rahh que de souvenirs qd ce DA passait encore sur FR3 à chaque Noël :-(

Il existe un autre conte superbe de ce même producteur/réalisateur : La reine des neiges, hélas tout comme ci dessus, je crains qu'il n'y est plus la version d'origine, je ne comprend cette manie pour les D.A. (Les Disney c'est la même choses d'ailleurs) de toujours vouloir les redoublés! ça doit être propre à la France car aux USa les disneys gardent leurs "voix" d'origine que ça soit de 1936 ou de 1989!!

There are four different English dubs made of this movie (that I know of) and all are on Amazon, with three of them being in stock. The first dub was made back in 1985 and is under the title "Swans", while the next two, under the title "(Hans Christian Anderson's) The Wild Swans" were done in the early 90s and the last one around 1997/8 or something. The last one is the Baryshnikov one. The one with the songs in English would be the 1985 Swans, which features songs by the band "The Bullets".

about 15 years ago I had this on VHS in German, but the songs used to be in English.

last year I bought it on DVD again, but the songs were in German and I didn't like it very much. I guess the english one is the best one.

So maybe I'll find the whole movie on youtube one day :)

This a series of russian animations from the 50's.

The series is called "Mikhail Baryshnikov's Stories from my Childhood" and are in total about 14 or 15 stories.

You can get them in Amazon in VHS(9 volumes) or in DVD(4 volumes)
