  • omg just had the great idea wat if u tie dye converse

  • @MsSupermacfan

i have a pair of tie dyed hightops c:

  • @LaceyCecilia cool i =m jeauleous *blushes*

  • @MsSupermacfan technically, you cant TIE dye converse because obviously you cant tie them up to create a patern..but you could surely dye them many colors which could turn out rather awesome

  • @ZachCullers123 thats wat i ment lol but my aunt and my mom bleach them first

  • @MsSupermacfan has been done :)

  • @MsSupermacfan omg thats a good idea!

  • lol i dipped both sides in same colour but what i thought was orange dye was actually yellow so w/e

  • Can you do 1 shirt in 3 differnt colors?

  • @bobfari You can use as many as you want, he can use more if he felt like it, its just an instructional video suprising for expert village.

  • @bobfari go to walmart, buy like a 3 pack tube dye thing in the craft aisle, but, instead of 4 wedges, add 2 more rubber bands and put the rubber bands around like a pizza.... then do 1 color for 2 wedges, and to make it look better leave ONE wedge white (i left 2 and there was too much white, but it still looked good)

  • @BuTtersc0tchx3 I don't live in America, I live in The Republic Of Ireland... but thanks for the advive anyway!!! :)

  • @bobfari well just to any store and get dye! lol

  • wow, expert village has an expert in its ranks

  • whoa expert village makes a bunch of videos!!!!!

  • Thank you. That was a very well presented video; very clear and helpful.

  • "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA"

  • You guys, quit judging him. Youre SUPPOSED to do it stoned.

  • What did you use to die the shirts?

  • Dumb question where can I find dye?

  • @huamanJR ritdye.com is really great. I recommend getting the powder dye when possible, saves money on shipping and works just as well as the liquid dye. I used the primary colors and was able to make 7 adult sized shirts and some socks.

  • @soupshoe thnx mate

  • Does anyone know if you can tie dye a blue and white striped shirt? What will happen?

  • @MrLiamPow

    idk

  • "PEENCH THE SHIRT" 0:30 !!!!!!!

  • I bought some dye today. The dye packet says to mix it with steaming hot water. Does the water have to be hot or cold?

  • And now you have a tied shirt ready to die ha ha ha

  • Hippies <3

  • Comment removed

  • what do you use for the dye part?

  • 138k vids wtf is wrong with u?

  • you're a freak.

  • @iluvhp17 so are u :)

  • @richarldluva124 wow,, good one, stupid.

  • @iluvhp17 judging by your pointless vids, you're really a freak

  • this is way harder than it should be.

i know alot of easier ways.

  • Is the water supposed to be hot?

  • @4Slakai23 You should wash it with cold water.

  • What dye I need to buy? Which are the best?

  • @Klamkens Any dye that you want really. Just make sure that it contains Urea which is an additive to dye that makes the colors both brighter and last longer.

Random Fact: Urea is found in Urine. Don't pee on your shirt for that yellow color though.

  • whats the salt for?

  • what liquis do you use ? the orange and the black what that?

  • How Long does it take to tie die and wait to dry?

  • Hella tight.

  • it sounded like this:

and now you have a tied shirt ready to DiE..

    ((=

  • what kind of colors is he using ?

  • how come one's one big spiral and the other one's really spiral-y?? it's it cause of how u put it in the dye?

  • @ForgottenLove896 Because he only but half the shirt in the dye for the shirt with the big spiral and the other he out the whole shirt in.

  • it helps for me you dont need to adopt all of the step make ur own design, he forget to teach how to mixed the dye in hot water and mixed the salt together

  • ; uhh, what do you use for dye??

  • i wanna tie die but i dont know where to get dye can some one tell me

  • @Getton8 Micheals they have kits with all the stuff u need

  • i wanna tie die but i dont know whereto get dye can some one tell me

  • @Getton8 They sell the products and stuff in walmart in the clothes softner and bleach section.

  • ..and you have a tied shirt--ready to DYE

  • does anyone know the colors he uses? why do they look so watery? is it food coloring? hahaha

  • the dude has a lot of rubberbands... just saying.

  • What's the salt for though?

  • @cabeg212 you need to put in in the dye mix, it makes the color stronger and last longer

  • @cabeg212 it makes the dye more vibrant

  • @cabeg212 Helps the color set in.

  • @cabeg212 HI, you'll find that the salt is an essential requirement of most fabric dyes. It apparently 'opens up the pores' so to speak, thus allowing the dye to penetrate the fibres and colour more effectively. D

  • @cabeg212

helps set the color. you put it in the water with the dye

  • @cabeg212 preserving the color so it doesnt fade after a bunch of washes

  • @cabeg212 the salt's to keep the dye in cus most of them run....a solution of vinegar and the same salt does wonder too

  • @cabeg212 to make the color stay

  • @cabeg212 so the color stays better

  • @cabeg212 I think it helps the colour stay

  • @cabeg212 seperates the colors

  • @cabeg212

it leaves cool dot effects. cool image it, silk screening.

  • @cabeg212 It's for preventing from the color to get off ;)

  • @cabeg212 with most dyes, you need to put salt in only if its cotton.

  • spray some woder

  • skip to 1:42 and he says ready to die?

  • @themaster795130 dye :P

  • all about tie dye. itiedye(dot)com
