I'm 34 and bought a Wii to play Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, MadWorld,House of the Dead:Overkill, The Conduit, and so I can play these upcoming kick ass games: Muramasa:The DemonBlade, Silent Hill:Shattered Memories, Dead Space:Extraction, Fragile, Red Steel 2, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, FFFCC:CrystalBearers,Tales of Graces, Dragon Quest 10,etc

Don't know why but if you pay attention all "die hard gamers" are usually around teenage and up. The Wii does focus a lot on the other generations. And it's pretty unlikely anybody around those ages would watch inside gaming (I've never seen a 10 year old watching machinima) so why spend a lot of time explaining all the details for the small audience?
